CPU-Z memory reading question

Ok ,my first adventure into OCing has been interesting. I can get this 0.13um FX-55 [2.6] to run at 14x multiplier vs stock 13 as long as I set the voltage to 1.5125. On Auto voltage setting Doom 3 crashed it in about 2 minutes. On the manual voltage setting it was running great till I upped the mul...

Watercooling 101 Done- Ocing 101 here I am

Sorry people, but the more I research the OCing info on the "Web" the more confused I get. Seems every one has a slightly different approach on "how to do it". This much I have gotten straight. Do it in the bios, stay away from most windows based apps. NP there as the bios doesn't bother me at all. ...

I never doubted when I first heard of the Dell Quad SLI rig, it would come out to the mainstream other than via Dell. To much at stake to leave it in Dells hands alone. Besides, that tactic would tick of the custom gaming builders like Alien-ware and so forth. What makes you think we won't see any o...

Ah yes, a way to get the cash stream to flow on a more regular basics, instead of the monsoon-drought climate we now have with game sales via CD/DVD. As for Alyx, they can keep Her, I'd prefer the DOG! Several times in HL-2, She would just get in my way. I'd prefer She sit on the sidelines and watch...

Quad SLI- The quest for more performance/money

Ever since Dell first made light of a Quad SLI rig, rumors have been here and there about quad SLI for the rest of us. Hence: http://www.theinquirer.net/?article=30025

Graphics warfare sure is interesting. For us a performance increase, for them $$$.$$ increase. :-({|=

Infinitevalence: One of the biggest reason why I "WAS" a die hard Intel fan was because of stability with Intel CPU/Chipset issues. I build gaming/high end system for freinds and family[no cost, they just pay for the parts]. The last thing I want is problems with the systems I build. I want them tro...

Intels PR at work?

Up untill my last build, I was die hard Intel all the way. AMD would kick Intels butt in gaming on a regular basic, but Intel would sometimes pull ahead in others. From the real world angle, I just figured there wasen't that much of a difference to go AMD. When the N force chipset for SLI came out a...

I took care of the Air flow problem in the MB area by using the top bay drive cover and drilling/punching out four holes and then cutting a Scotch Brite Pad to fit it for the filter element. Take a look-e see.

I tried your link and it gave me "Service Unavailable". Then I did a search on Google of <sndmonprivtest>, I got three hits, every one took me to E bay. Lot of ways this is really no big deal anymore as I re formatted my computer. Just was interested in a little more info. It's just that stuff like ...

HDD drive area-no. It's drawing air in from the bottom of the case through some vents. The two fans for the Kollance unit plus the rear case fan next to the cpu block generate enough draw that if I have the front case cover closed[hinged door], my temps go up by 3 deg. cel.. I think this is because ...

My very early research showed that sndmon was part of Norton AV/IS. No problem there. The fact that sndmonprivtest.dat didn't seem linked to Norton other than Norton would place it in the Protected Recycle bin didn't seem right. Then when I did a search on google and all I got was various web page h...
