Re: SILICON POWER Announces Memory Module Series

WHAT? :? Could someone please educate me? Understand that some memory conflicts with some motherboards/BIOS (Frankly never understood why there are memory conflicts in the first place.) So is Silicon Power saying they are designing/manufacturing (or maybe acquiring/branding) different types of brand...

So much for an economic downturn.
Intel just isn't hurting at all!!!
Was hoping to get an E8600 for the cheap by April.
FAT CHANCE.

Re: Cryostasis PC Game TechDemo - Physics Benchmarking

What horrible SLI and Triple results on the 280, like why bother. Is this a driver problem or is it the introduction of PhysX or what? don't think it would be a driver problem since NVIDIA is hosting the download for the techdemo they helped develop! :) Welcome PhysX! That and I showed NVIDIA these...

Re: Cryostasis PC Game TechDemo - Physics Benchmarking

Do you need an SLI motherboard to do the GPU + PhysX cards or will it work on an Intel MB?
I'm thinking the new nVidia 295 + a PhysX card.

Re: Cryostasis PC Game TechDemo - Physics Benchmarking

Great review and very interesting.
My understanding of the new nVidia drivers is that you can SLi and have a dedicated PhysX card.
Would love to see what performance gains a dedicated PhysX card adds in SLi mode.

Re: Thermaltake BlacX Hard Drive Docking Station

Can you use this thing with the boot drive?
Looks a lot easier than a drive bay.
I'm about to set up a new system with an Antec 900 case which doesn't look so drive bay friendly.
Thanks for the review; cool product.

Re: ASUS Striker II NSE Motherboard Review

One point on the HIGH PRICE you did not mention is that these top-of-the-line Asus boards come with a sound card that is worth at least $60-90. Factor that in with the game bundle and and a hassle free board and maybe it's a good deal. Reading horror stories of bios's that don't work on some boards ...
