Re: Apple iPad 16GB Wi-Fi Edition Tablet PC First Impressions

lol stop being realists and just imagine for a second you did get a second ipad :P

I'm not really an apple fanboi, can't say I see a purpose in the ipad. I am looking into the next generation iphone, also there are still rumors of the CDMA iphone being marketed on verizon, I really hope this is true.

Re: No more Linux on PS3 systems?

It's financial. Sony still loses money on PS3 consoles, they make it back on game licensing. PS3 consoles are actually highly effective computers for research and engineering (from what I've heard anyway), Sony is probably trying to close the loophole of eating the hardware cost of others using thei...

Re: What mail client is everyone using with Win7?

I use gmail and outlook 2007 for my school e-mail, makes it easier for me to sort through e-mails and schedule priorities. I'm sure you can do all that with gmail but I never bothered to try.

Re: Fox Cancels '24' TV Show

I just got into lost this weekend. All the backstory for the characters seems too much like filler when really all you want to see is what is happening on the island. I ended up just watching a combination of episodes with fastforwarding and reading synopsis. You can watch all of seasons 1-5 of lost...

Haven't used photoshop in awhile but that is quite nifty. Does it still take an eon to start up like it did a couple years ago?

Re: Post Your Rig!

My dad has a 2400 too, I think it's 7 years old. His hard drive died two years ago, he replaced that and the thing is still chugging along. I have to admit though that piece of crap is so slow I'd probably throw it into a wall if I had to use it, but for basic word processing/browsing/iming it does ...

It's ridiculous, I think in-place upgrade should work on any 32 to 32 platform and 64 to 64.

Windows 7 upgrading

So, with the professional keys I got from MSDN (by the way they killed that deal). I have been playing around with it. The ability to upgrade without a clean install (i.e. retain your programs) is extraordinarily limited at this point. I thought 32 to 32-bit upgrades would be pain-free, with 32 to 6...

Nothing fancy here, this is what I bought when I was in finishing college. I'm still using it. I remember, I paid 400 for it including 19" widescreen monitor, and added maybe 60 dollars total to upgrade ram and graphics card. http://www.mypicx.com/uploadimg/751321830_09222009_1.jpg Inspiron 531...

Re: Windows 7 Release Candidate

I decided with the second option. I'm downloading the RTM version of professional x64 and will install that, then I will validate it with a key from MSDN when they validate my information.

I'm going to try this with a bootable USB since I don't feel like buying dvds :P
