Is win10 with DX12 faster?

So I remember the initial test showed, that win10 with DX12 was faster but later there was a real game test where it wasn't so. The conclusion was a possible drivers problem. So my question is: Is there a positive speed difference if upgraded from win7 64b with DX11 to win10 64b DX12 and if yes how ...

I hate thief scum. I would just kill them if it was permitted. Thiefs in the middle ages were publicaly executed. That had some deterrence.

Re: EKWB Predator 240 AIO Liquid CPU Cooler Review

Yeah, yeah, Yeah. Once you upgrade or expand, you end up with even more money spent. I understand that the cost is higher because it's upgradebable but modular setups also (should) deliver more performance. Because that is the bottom line: does it cool or does it not? This one cost almost 2.5x more ...

Re: EKWB Predator 240 AIO Liquid CPU Cooler Review

Recommended again? Why? The Corsair H105 was leading the pack in this test, eighter winning or being just second and I just checked you can get one on Amazon for $98.99! This is less than half of the EKWB price. On top of this the EKWB is mediocre at best. I wouldn't recommend it at this price point...

Re: ASUS Radeon R9 390X STRIX 8GB Video Card Review

This IS a rebrand with twice amount of memory (not much difference) and little raise on the speed (You can do it yourself with the 290X), so I can't see why is it more expensive than the 290X, epecialy with no more features. Even if they would of come up with the same price as the 290X it would be s...

Re: Gaming Laptop

Wow, what a reply. I don't give a damn if you play on your tablet with tetris or super mario brothers but don't call it a gaming laptop please. A gaming laptop IS full HD nowadays and many are 4K! Of course FullHD wouldn't make sense on a tablet oryour phone but I'm talking about a GAMING laptop! It...

Re: AMD Radeon R9 Nano 4GB Video Card Review

Again the price. If they would realy want some momentum and take some big chunk of the market, they would charge no more, than what the 970 mini costs. For $650 (the price for a GTX980Ti, that is much more powerful) they can go bankrupt as far as I'm concerned. You pay for the size? That is a real b...

Re: SteelSeries Siberia X300 (Siberia v3) Gaming Headset Rev

I have no idea why even bother with shitty sounding and ugly looking headphones when you can get a wide choice of gaming sennheiser headsets and any of them would sound way better and also look much better in around the same price range? Just couple of examples: a $320 headset for $140 http://www.am...

Re: Upgrading a dinosaur

Just change the CPU to a T9300 and RAM to 2x2GB (can be 800Mhz but it will run as 667Mhz) and change the HDD to a SSD. It has only SATA2 but will still fly like crazy with this setup. The T9300 you can get on e-bay for about $30-40 from china incl. shipping. I did the same with my moms old gateway w...

No way Jose! I did not "downgrade" to win8 and will not to win10 unless nothing will work anymore on win7! The forced updates are a dealbreaker to me by themselves. :vom:

Re: eDRAM Overclocking on the Intel Core i7-5775C Broadwell

To boost the PC sales market, they have to forget those insane video card prices! Most people buy PC's to play and with these VGA prices many will just switch to consoles! The $1000 cards should be no more than $400 and the rest reduced accorddingly! Greed doesn't pay - for sure not in a long run an...

I second what you are both saying here. Re: AMD Radeon R9 Fury X Video Card Review

Yeah, it costs them in material maybe couple of bucks to make them and if we ad the costs of invention they still make 1000x more than what they invested. Just being greedy. But this greed may not pay off at the end as you say, as consoles may just take over the market or Intel will with its integra...
