I should have also added...Last Thursday I transfared my hdd to a mates pc.. by mistake i booted into my drive and windows said I must re-activate.. Then yesterday, after returning the drive to it's rightfull place, I was told I MUST RE-ACTIVATE!! - I had no access to my files... Thankfully I paid ...

I completely agree!!! The only way you make the industry listen is via their wallets! People need to boycott certain products... I could buy windows or crack it for my second pc... but the hdd has never felt the pain of ntfs or fat for that matter... Out of principle I only use Linux/BSD etc. M$ go...

on the motherboard of the Laptop there are two little dip switches that control the fsb setting, just like in the good old days of overclocking by changing the setting you can go between 400fsb and 533fbs. they are nothing more than very small lightswitches. thanks. thats a really usefull info ther...
