in the section where you have your cpu frequency there should be agp/pci ratio it's set to "by SPD" by default. if you change it to manual- you can set it to 66/33. the reason why your rig loks up is eighter becouse the cpu and/or the north bridge overheats or simply because your ram canno...

I have not been to the gym much, so all my weight loss is from cutting back on the fast food i've been eating over the years. Na...

I completely agree!!! The only way you make the industry listen is via their wallets! People need to boycott certain products... I could buy windows or crack it for my second pc... but the hdd has never felt the pain of ntfs or fat for that matter... Out of principle I only use Linux/BSD etc. M$ go...

Someone will crack it, then host either the source code or a complied binary file on some server in a country which doesn't believe in copyright laws! yeah I agree-but the problem is they want to track you down and consider you to be a criminal- this might allow them to give you a criminal record a...

unbridled greed?

I found this article on how intel, microsoft and the music/movie industry teamed up to screw you- the end user: By: Sander Sassen I’ve described DRM, digital rights management, as the holy grail of the movie and music industry before; it is generally perceived as their ticket to safeguard their infla...

also if you get the 1.7 400fsb or 1.6 400fsb you can overclock it by just fliping the dip switches from 400 to 533 fsb. that would give you either 2.13 or 2.26ghz for alot less $$
what do you mean by "flipping the clip switches"? could you explain in details please?

I tell you what happened to me- maybe it helps. I had the same thing when first tried to overclock the CPU. I did not fix the AGP/PCI ratio in the bios (was on auto) and when OC-d I lost the sound. tried all kinds of things like you -to no avail. then I just thought I would put the CPU back to defau...
