Zalman VF3000N Cooler for GTX260 - 285 a User's Review

While not a GPU.......it does go on one!! From the first time I saw a picture of this cooler (it was the ATI red version) I thought that it was one neat looking cooler and had my fingers crossed that it would come out for nvidia!!! I wanted so badly to use it with my XFX GTX 260 BE….my how thi...

Re: As Yet to be Named Build..........

As I need to wait on the motherboard, not much will happen for a while on this build. Need to get DreamCatcher figured out so I can get some of the mess out of the floor…….besides it is inheriting Kermit’s MSI 785GX-E65. I’ll toss out these pix and give you a little “initial thought” first of the ca...

Okay....you know the deal "bought it but thought it was someting else". :(  Anyway I now have a set of these (used) for what appeared to be a good price. What can I use them for as all of my systems have nice 8500s in them? Had thought about putting them in the 790GXE / ...

Re: PII X4 945 - Started OC'ing It!

I have the original version of that case straight from Chenming, the maker of the chassis before they sold the design to a hundred different companies. Its not nearly as nice looking as your ultra but they're just about identical internally. My contension has always been that most cases are made by...

Re: PII X4 945 - Started OC'ing It!

so what frequency are you looking at for everyday use? 3.6 or higher than that? Actually the 3.6 is going to be it as I tried some other settings this morning and fell on my face. :( I tend to fall pray to the guys that state they managed 5GHz on half volts and popcorn and try to see if I can do it...

Re: Small Rant - About Politics, Not Loss of Life

......... Maybe it was just a coincident that shortly after the election some of this stuff went into high demand . Who knows, personally I figure it has to do with the war, then again, you never know. The same thing happened with Clinton and his Dem control congress. With the Dem's being in genera...

Re: Vid Issues with my M3A78-CM

If anyone is interested in the final results...........ended up selling the mobo to a friend that wanted the original 7750 that was in it in the first place. Have bios 1003 which seems to be the only one that'll work with the 7750. Anyway it now seems I have onboard vid (at least at the analog side)...
