Re: Gigabyte GA-MA790FXT-UD5P & AMD 965 BE Stability Issues Help
Thats the only one that makes it gray screen so far. Actually dring OOCT the computer just froze (with the desktop and everything still visible, just no gray screen). That was a question I asked in another forum. As long as it does what i want everyday and doesn't crash, should I just ignore the pri...

Re: Gigabyte GA-MA790FXT-UD5P Motherboard Review
Have you tried running mem test. Since the only thing that you have adjusted is the memory I would try running that first. Did you bump the voltage up with the frequency or just the frequency. What are the entire system specs that you are running. You may want to start a thread on this so we don't ...

Oh nice. The MSI was in my shopping cart when I ran across the article here. Several reviewers said it was one of the most frustrating overclocking experiences they ever had. I am curious to see how it stacks up for you guys. well they had a component on the board that failed when the voltage was i...

I managed to Fubar my brand new windows 7 RC install in my overclock attempts. Once I get my 8 b OCZ black edition ram in I will try to overclock again. I think this cheap Corsair memory I bought at frys inst very conducive to overclocking.

Re: Cooler Master V8 and Ram Fans touching.... is this bad?
All parts? :) I was messing around a bit earlier and was able to get to 4.1 ghz stable (I think). I am thinking about using the AMD Over Drive utility once I have Win 7 installed. I saw in my bios I can overclock the cpu, pcie, bus, ect. I have never really oc'ed before, but I bought components to a...

Re: Cooler Master V8 and Ram Fans touching.... is this bad?
I would ditch the ram fans...they aren't really needed..They help don't get me wrong..but unless you're really overclocking the hell out of the ram, it's not really needed I do plan on over clocking the system. I just built this: http://secure.newegg.com/WishList/PublicWishDetail.aspx?WishListNumbe...

Cooler Master V8 and Ram Fans touching.... is this bad?
Hi All, I just got done building (minus ram... grr stupid newegg 3 days my butt!) and I have a Cooler Master V8 and the Corsair Dominator Ram fans. Well, this V8 is so large that it sort of covers the ram area. I can squeeze the Corsair fans on (not sturdy fit mind you), but the Corsair and the V8 t...

Re: ASUS EAH5870 Voltage Tweak Video Card
I just purchased all my parts for a new system from Newegg today.... in that list is the XFX 5870 (I wanted the 5850 but they sell out so fast and I was tired of waiting!). Anywhoo, since this is the same board, XFX could come out with a video bios tweak of their own right?
