Yes. It says that the 300 series is dual core and has hyperthreading. I had no idea that Atom processors have these sort of features. I'm falling behind on tech improvements.

I wonder what applications use OpenGL 3. Nice to see an upgrade, though.

Re: Which would you rather have on your next system

Nvidia just based on PhysX alone, since that has potential for gameplay features. The problem with Eyefinity is the gap in between the monitors. That's just too distracting for me.

Re: Ubisoft Online DRM: It's Worse Than Expected

The only thing DRM accomplishes is tarnishing the image of PC gaming. Piracy will always exist on all platforms. Putting in strict DRM, delaying the PC version, and pulling a bunch of other stunts like that will only damage the PC platform. Some say piracy is killing (or has already killed) PC gamin...

Re: Zotac GTS 250 X2 Spotted

DirectX 11 titles are not plentiful now, but I am sure that it will catch on much quicker than DirectX 10. Perhaps buying a first generation DirectX 11 card is not wise, but the refined second generation may be worth it.

Awesome. I have been wishing for an open standard for physics for a long time. I cannot wait until developers take advantage of GPU-accelerated physics and feature game-changing effects.

Re: NVIDIA GeForce GTX 480 Video Card Requires 600W Power Supply

Ah, I did not notice Rollo's signature. I am glad that Nvidia is focusing on the GPGPU features. Hopefully we will see new rendering techniques. John Carmack and a few others have mentioned sparse voxel octrees. While such datasets can be converted into polygon meshes, I would like to see other prim...

Re: Newegg and Customer Fooled - Fake CPU

He should have inspected it whether or not it was fake, but apparently he trusted Newegg too much to do so. Either that or he wants an excuse to get a free motherboard.

Re: Zotac GTS 250 X2 Spotted

This is nice and all, but I do not see why anyone would buy this when Nvidia's DirectX 11 offering is around the corner. Not having DirectX 11 capabilities limits the cool things that can be done with the card.

Re: Newegg and Customer Fooled - Fake CPU

The fake processor is not even a processor, it's just a hunk of metal. In the video description he says that he put it in his motherboard and it damaged it.
