Re: Spore Goes Gold - In Stores September 7th, 2008

Ok fellow gamers , Ive been scouring the EA/Spore forums quite a bit to see if I should even consider opening/install my copy of the game . Well I found probably the best critique so far buy one person that goes into alot of detail about the differant stages and what he thinks about the good/bad/fla...

Re: Spore Goes Gold - In Stores September 7th, 2008

Well , I wanted something a little different in a game and pre-ordered it . I have the game sitting UNopend due to the install limit . For a game that's "supposed" to have "re-playability" , putting an install limit is just plain idiotic . I may just return it for FarCry 2 , but considering EA has t...

Re: Not sure which way to go

Definitly upgrade your monitor first (22"-24") . You have a very good card with that 9800GTX and your really not putting it to the best of use with using a lower-end resolution . Spend $300-$400 on a nice 22"-24" (i say go 24") and you will still have enough for a second 9800GTX (even at current pri...

Re: NVIDIA Dictates Advertised Video Card Pricing

Interesting read to say the least .

Nvidia has been cutting their own throat as of late considering they now have three fairly new generations of v/cards selling at the same time (8800/9800/G200) ; so why take it out on the consumer . [-X

Nice to see that Newegg's on top of things :P

Re: Game Testing 2GB versus 4GB of Memory on Vista 64-bit

Nice article . Personally I would not tough Vista x64 with less then 4gigs myself , as Vista uses about 1gig just to run (non-tweaked) , leaving only a gig left and with some newer games using up to that remaining gig ; leaving you to use the page file . Next time I boot to my Vista side ,...

Well I can kinda vogue for the SEAGATE 250gb ST3250410AS (slim perp drives) . I purchased a few of these apon thier release back in Sept '07 . So far not a single problem with any of them , with the performance/cooling/noise: dead silent ,all being excellant ! . Ive been so happy with the ST3250410A...
