well you're most likely going to end up with problems if the mobo have different chipsets. best bet is to just start fresh. but if you really really can't deal with that, then i read somewhere that you can uninstall all your devices in device manager and restart with the new hardware. cant guarantee...

i have the ibook g4 1.3ghz. works on a regular network with windows pc just fine. if you want something thinner and lighter, u can get the powerbook for a few more hundred

you can probably get a 500gb seagate for around 110-130 when it goes on sale every so often. i like seagate/maxtor since they have a 5 year warranty.

I had the ps3 but returned it due to lack of games. after beating resistance, play call of duty 3, and nba live, theres really no interesting games out there right now.

do you mean not allowing you to access as in access rights? you need to take ownership of the contents. right click on the drive>properties>security>advance>"owner" tab and change the owner to your current sign on.

Used DVD Shrink for DVD9 and it works great! Easy interface and love the option where I can take out the annoying commercials in the beginning. Also anyone know the difference between DVDFAb and DVDShrink?

NOD32

Had Norton Antivirus before, but when I installed, NOD32, it detect a few viruses that Norton didnt. Plus, it doesnt hog system resources.

On the system thats failing, put in a video card that works and prime95 and memtest it for a few hours. make sure all the other components are working. are you oc the system btw?

Im pretty sure most manufactures for the PM notebooks dont offer high end video cards as the PM chassis is geared towards battery life. I've seen some but not a lot.
