Re: System glitch?
I think this just gives the info from the device as it is suppose to be (factory) and ignoring any natural variants as well. For example, when I first got my new machine it was running off of one stick of 2GB RAM, and knowing that no PC part is perfect, I knew that it wasn't exactly 2GB, but Windows...

Re: For chits and giggles
I would like to see other colours than just the blue or black. In fact what i would really like is all of the colours used for the various components and some white L.E.D's so you can see it (if of course you have the right case). I also agree that the BIOS has too much crap and not what you need. If...

Re: "Last used" spec for Control Panel
I have either found that the programs look too deep into things, like Major_a says, or don't look deep enough I.E Nero has many extra bits that never got used on my PC yet the software said that it was all the time. Windows is your best bet to give you an idea of when things were last used. And also...

Re: Many Win 7 Troubles
run malwarebytes and tdsskiller try a repair install of windows format and reinstall windows That's all I can suggest. Definitely get any important files backed up immediately in case it gets worse! I would suggest backing up first as well One other thing you can do is to run spybot and c cleaner, ...

Re: Home Bar build
Well I think it is looking very good and the work top is one of those that you grow to like after a while. I also like the bottle caps that are set in there as well.

Re: Two New Problems
Right I have checked all of the drivers and other than the graphics card, they were up to date and I have checked all of the capacitors (not fun and took too long) they all seem healthy. However while checking the capacitors I noticed that it was a bit dusty in there. Can I use a paint brush to clea...

The world would be a much less interesting place if everyone did like the same thing.KnightRid wrote:Where is the cigar humidor? ;)
Looks nice, except the bar top. I personally do not like it but that is what makes everyone unique. Not everybody has to like what everybody else does.

Re: Internet Explorer Sound Issue
With Internet Explorer opened, go to Tools, Internet Options, under the Advanced tab verify that "Play sounds in webpages" is checked - under Multimedia. If not, check it, click Apply, then OK. If using Internet Explorer 8, go to Tools, Compatibility Mode and add that site. :ANAL: And if ...

Re: Thermal paste- what do you think?
I'll be honest I'm too lazy to use the pastes. I have always bought a motherboard with the processor and heatsink installed.

Ok I shall have a look for any dodgy capacitors and do the whole remove all non essensial hardware and put them back in one by one. I will update when I have done this.

I have to say the one thing I don't like about the keyboard I have is the backspace key. I much prefer the two key sized on.

Re: Drivers
I bought a new keyboard cause I just couldn't find a driver that worked.
The keyboard I got was one of the gigabyte ones which i like very much.
I would recommend that you do the same to be honest.

I think the biggest problem here is the same everywhere. Companies are just too concerned about money and no longer worried about delivering a good service.

Two New Problems
Hi Guys, yet more problems, well more annoying little bugs than problems. Anyway the first is that my computer spends about 5 minutes or so on the following screen: http://www.treadlayers.com/PC_Hardware/Motherboards/Gigabyte/GA-MA78GM-S2H/P1090394.JPG This isn't mine just an example (If you want to...

Re: Laptop issue
I have got them set to clean the registry too.
Also is there any way to see what is causing the issues, or do I have to sit there and see what it's doing just after it crashes?
