Re: Laptop issue
I don't think there is a hardware issue on the laptop. Can't say the same about dust. Is there some sort of diagnostics software I can download to see if that will tell me what's wrong. Having a look yesterday I couldn't find any. The laptop was infected a little while ago but that was cleared up wi...

Re: Which processor is better?
Well I normally go for raw power snd such cause mine is used for gaming. I do have a second tower for abusing and testing software but that went up the creek and I have yet to fix it yet. But the stress tests and diag test (plus your requirements) are the best ways to decide.

Re: Shipping Damage - When FedEx Drops a PC
I have to say a lot of delivery companies probably have that sort of set up to come back empty as possible. But the best company I have found so far is DHL. We use them a lot at work and not had any beaten parcels.

Re: Which processor is better?
One thing you can do that will help decide, is perform some stress tests on both of them and compare the results of the "dxdiag" test.

Re: Neverwinter Nights and C & C
Ok guys I really need help with this. I have done a lot of poking about and every patch I have found fails. Could this be the install that I have for Neverwinter. Also cannot get Command and Conquer to work what so ever. Though just a thought, would safe mode make it do anything??

I will say that the results I published were wrong. The real speed is 0.45 not 0.09. Windows wa...

Re: POST Crashing?
No it finishes the IDE detection and then seems to crash. All of the levels are factory as I don't like overclocking (too much risk and fiddling).
