Ken,
Sorry if I was misunderstood. I know you weren't suggesting that....its just a topic that has come up before. As to cherry picked samples, happens all the time

the problem with leaks and ignoring NDA agreements is it hurts people like Nate..... who on several occasions has either been given information about things, or discovered them himself, but has too much class and integrity to disrespect a company. Several times i have told him to write an article or...

The base isn't the best, but it wasn't bad enough to need a lapping. Actually the performance is excellent for the price.
I like the flexibility it provides, you just have to be careful with kinking the hoses.

You know, I use a Cooler Master Aquagate mini 120 as part of my testing systems. Thing works incredibly well.....sealed system that requires no maintainence, adjustable 120mm fan, and the kit comes with the hardware to mount it on every system available right now.

I love my Prommie, but when you consider the price, and the fact it doesn't cool anything besides the CPU, it isn't worth it. If I had to choose, the Exos 2 is the best cooling avilable on the market. The cooling blocks work excellent, its easy to work with, and the performance are second to none. I...

The only benefit to Crossfire to this point is you can use different speed/types of cards. Your graphics solution will run at the slower cards specs..... The dongle is a pain in the ass, the performance is not very good, and the boards that support Crossfire have flaws.....wait for the technology to...

I don't think its the PSU...Thermaltakes are usually pretty reliable. I also think that system is fairly small. My guess is the mobo might be bad.....Its just hard to try and sort through everything. You obviously have started out with a fresh install of Windows, the chipset drivers, DirectX, then y...

My first suggestion would be try run Driver Cleaner....wipe out the video card drivers installed on the system.
If that doesn't work, I'd probably format the HDD on his system.....switching mobos isn't usually just plug and play...... sometimes there are driver conflicts that can bork the whole setup.

If you are even considering $150-160 you need to just get the DFI LANPart NF4 SLI board. For a guy who will end up doing some tinkering and tweaking it is the best board you can get.

i'm completely fine with "happy holidays." it seems more fitting than "merry christmas," because it's all-encompassing. hannukah is in the same relative block of time as christmas, so why disregard one and not the other? since they're both holidays, why not kill two birds with one stone? French Doctors Perform First Partial Face Transplant

Reminds me of Nip/Tuck last week LYON, France Doctors have performed the world's first partial face transplant, grafting a nose, lips and chin onto a patient disfigured by a dog bite, two French hospitals said Wednesday. The surgery on the 38-year-old woman was performed Sunday, said a statement...
