I don't think saying Merry Christmas to someone is assuming they celebrate Christ or believe that way. I think that makes it obvious that is how you celebrate. That is definitely another way of looking at it. Come to think of it, I know some Jews, but I have never actually told them, "Happy Hannaku...

I didn't read anyone's reply because I'm lazy like that, but here's my take on it: The reason why people choose to say "Happy Holidays" is because they don't know which holiday you are celebrating. There are many different holidays going on at this time of the year, and by saying "Happy Holidays," ...

My only coment to Rich, is just remember that there are vocal minorities on both sides trying to push agends. While i dont always like the "liberal" agenda i do think that a open PC attitude is better than the more conservitive christain agenda. I guess i just feel that the conservitive christain a...

The DFI Infinity is an SLI board, like the LANParty, they built the entire line for exactly this scenario. I know the 7800GT is about $100 more, but I was thinking he could settle for one card right now, and add a second later. The 7800 is going to be a good card for a year or two, while the 6800 is...

OK, here is my 2cents. I hear some of you who happened to be christians saying that you aren't/wouldn't be offended if someone else (with other religion) would say happy hannukah or else to you. the problem I think is that other religions (I will say it: muslim and jewish) aren't that forgiving and...

Yves has a great lst if you want to come in under your budget for other parts. The ECS KN1 Extreme board is a solid choice. The one i reviewed here awhile back is in a forum members system and he has really enjoyed it a lot.
The 3200+ Venice is a very good processor, and extremely cheap.

Newegg usually does some decent bundles.....lets see what we can do. AMD 3700+ .........$233 DFI NF4 Infinity....$122 XFX7800GT..........$309 You can save a little money and go with a smaller processor, like a 3200 or 3500, but the 3700 is probably the best single core processotr you can get with th...

I just renewed my contract on my cel phone and was able to echange my old V300 for a Motorolla V3 Razr.
My question is, does anyone here have a bluetooth headset? I was looking at a Jabra Bluetooth Headset BT 250v, which has gotten some really good reviews.....anyone have any input?

I don't want us to be a "Christmas and nothing else society".....I think the more days and cause for celebration and togetherness the better....I just don't understand why everyone wants to do away with christmas but if you try to do the same with other's holidays, you are a horrible person. I am ha...

I would rank the kits in this order 1. Crucial Ballstix PC4000 (Pass on the Tracer kit) 2. Corsair TwinX2048-3500LL PRO 3. OCZ PC-4000 Platinum 4. Mushkin Extreme Performance PC4000 The OCZ is a damn good kit, but is almost impossible to find as to the Corsair kit, I think it will come down a little...

I know that this will probably end up upsetting some people, but its a discussion I want to have, and i want to know what each and everyone of you thinks..... remember to play nice. About the crucial ballistix, they seem to be extremely good memory, but i noticed that alot of people were having problems with it after 2 months. They say that after the 2 months it got trouble even holding the standard given specs or sometimes even worse. I dont know if this was just a bad batch ...

OOOps, I wrote all that out as if you have the DFI board I have.
Just keep your VCore below 1.5V (you don't need too much voltage for where you are going) and keep the memory divider at 5:6 and you should be okay. I haven't played with any Gigabyte boards in quite awhile.
