Dye Tubing, Dye!
I'm so close to finishing this build now, but have agonisingly little time to work on it this week! I was finally was able to get all my fittings installed (after getting the last two in the post on Saturday) and so got around to cutting the tubing to its needed lengths. http://imageshack.us/a/img83...

Sleeving... Done!
I was finally was able to finish my sleeving yesterday. :D Had an amazingly timed postal delivery a few days ago too, I had literally just run out of paracord when the postman knocked on the door bringing me my ordered resupply! The nightmare of a 24pin cable came out like this: http://img832.images...

Sleeving Woes
So I don't think I mentioned yet that when I got my Seasonic PSU back from RMA, they had replaced it with a newer version of the X-Series lineup, which has completely different modular connectors for all the cables. Which meant all my sleeving done so far was useless with this PSU. I've been able to...

I'm so close now, but there's still loads to do.
I soldered/wired up 2/3 of the LEDs last night....
Man this thing's going to look pretty.

Motherboard Nip & Tuck
Even though my case layout has always been pretty clean, I've never felt the look of my mod kept up with other newer builds, and I realised it was because of all the different coloured plastic components on my motherboard: http://imageshack.us/a/img14/920/motherboardbefore.jpg So they had to go: htt...

Blood Red Tubing
I've had an idea in the back of my mind with what I wanted to do about the tubing in my rig, having been unable to find any deep blood red available to buy outright. But I've not had chance to check if it was going to work until now, and now that I know it is going to work, I can't decide if it's mo...

Case Stripped Down, Once Again
While I had my case partially stripped down to remove the PSU, I decided now was as good a time as any to make a couple more case adjustments I had wanted to for a while. So out came everything else... http://img827.imageshack.us/img827/299/casestrippedonceagain.jpg I've always used a T-Line to fill...

Re: Project P182 Watercooled V2!
Some people don't tend to have much of an issue with it, the biggest factor is the water temp of your loop. When it hits somewhere between 40-50oC water temp (someone studied it but I can't remember where I read it) then the plasticiser begins to break down and come out of your pipes. But still, if ...

Yucky, Gunky Plasticiser
So here's why being lazy with watercooling is a bad idea. As you can no doubt tell from some of my recent WC photos, plasticiser has leached out of all my pipes and into my loop. Being lazy and knowing I was due to replace the tubing later as part of this project, I didn't do anything about it until...

A Delivery From Nils
Got a nice little something in the post this week from MDPC-X :) http://img507.imageshack.us/img507/9350/adeliveryfromnils.jpg While I'm not going to use their sleeving, I did need a decent molex crimp and replacement ATX remover to carry on. My sunbeamtech remover had left me needing to replace sev...

Re: Project P182 Watercooled V2!
Just bought the regular stuff and am gutting it myself, it's easy enough to do.
If I've got enough left over, I'd be tempted to make one of those bracelets too.

Where Does The General Keep His Soldiers? Up His Sleevies!
Got a very nice package in the post the other day :D http://img813.imageshack.us/img813/5601/beautifulparacord.jpg Paracord! I'm going for the sleeveless paracord look, and while it might be a lot more effort than normal heatshrink sleeving, I think it looks a lot better. :) http://img828.imageshack...

Sorry Noctua, It Just Isn't Working Out
I tried to love the Noctua fans, I really did, but their colour never grew on me and I've longed for stealthier black-framed fans this whole time. So, out come the Noctua's, and in go the Scythe GT's I pictured in my last post. :D First thing on my agenda was to sleeve the fan cables, can't have mes...

Thread Resurrection!
I always felt kind of guilty about getting this project to 90% of it's potential and then settling at a stage where it just worked. While I'm still happy with the hardware in my PC, I've decided to give this project a lot of love, and finish off that last 10% of cosmetic touches. Starting with getti...

Re: F@H War Organizer Needed
Yeah, it's been a while, hasn't it. How've you been keeping? :P I've emailed you a link to be editor for a copy of the last stats, feel free to tweak the layout and things. Don't think I did anything too fancy in regards to formula and graphs, so they should be self explanatory if you need to change...

Re: F@H War Organizer Needed
I can give editor access to the google docs stats sheet I made last time. It'll need the teams re-jigging, but the output calculation stats and graphs should still be good to go. It's a bit low tech in that you'll have to open up each users EOC page and copy their days output to the spreadsheet, but...

Re: Video Tour of the Antec Booth At Computex 2010
Antec have really gone downhill in terms of case design lately. They even messed up the P183 by throwing garish vents on it.
