I have the same issues with my HP PSC2175 "all in one". It has limited functionality and isn't very stable. HP gives me a list of recommended new printers to buy however... :axe: I think I will partially take their advice and buy a new printer. Samsung make the CLP-300 which is a nice litt...

Well, like a dummy (I've done this before  ) I decided to go for it and got the Ultimate Upgrade (plus the Office 2007 Home/Student edition). Tried to upgrade my existing install but no go, I got a "this product cannot be installed on this computer" type of error. Did a clean install ...

Re: NEED HELP - D975XBX2 SATA Drives

Well besides the huge 250mm fan not working on my Enermax Chakra case, things went pretty well for my new BadAxe2/E6600/evGA8800GTX build. But I forgot to F6 the RAID drivers for my Sata drives, not that I have a floppy drive anyway. Can I still make this work with SATA versus IDE? Thanks in advanc...

DMB2000uk,

Said the same thing to myself a thousand times <gr> but I get that "early adopter" itch every once in a while.

I tried Beta 2 for a while and, for the most part, liked it. But I've since built a new PC...

Maybe I'll just dual boot awhile :)

To Vista or not to Vista, that is the question...

Try setting it to AHCI or RAID vs. IDE. You can install the RAID driver without actually having a RAID setup. This also enables AHCI and allows you to setup a RAID array later without re-installing.

I don't have Vista but I think it works the same way as XP in this regard.

Quick question (OK maybe not so quick :) ) My 3.2G overclock was accomplished by:

1) setting FSB to 360
2) setting the RAM (corsair XMS2 DDR2 6400 5,5,5,18 ) to DDR 667 (5:4)

This gives me 3.2G on my E6600 and 900 on the RAM. can i get the RAM to 1:1?

I can hit 3.73GHz on the QX6700 with stability on both the 680I and the 975X... I can post and get screenshots at 4GHz on the 680I SLI, but it's not stable... From all my personal use of overclocking I get the same results on both boards, but I can get higher without stability on the 680I. That say...

Personally I have to agree with Bwall on most points. Were I shooting for the top overclock, highest benchmarks, braggin' rights (and there's nothing wrong with that at all) etc. the 680 would be in my box. That said I have a nice stable overclock @ 3.2g on my E6600 with little effort (other than th...
