Re: New Waterblock.....*56k warning*
I normally refer to this when purchasing WB, but you have to take in how restrictive the WB to decide on the pump.
It's a bit outdated and doesn't inlcude WB like your Alphacool.

Just curious about the Alphacool Nex WB you're using. How well does it compare to top WBs like Swiftech Storm, DD RBX/TDX, DD Maze4, D-Tek/Whitewater? And is it a high or low restriction waterblock? I'm in the market now to find a new WB for my upcomming rig. My current rig uses a Silverprop Cyclone...

Re: Changing setup (worth it?)
A8N32 doesn't even stand up to Expert when overclocking.but how about an entire new build would I be better off getting the asus a8n32 or the expert?
Choosing between ASUS A8R32-MVP and Expert would be a hard choice tho.

Re: Watercooling 101 Done- Ocing 101 here I am
Sorry people, but the more I research the OCing info on the "Web" the more confused I get. Seems every one has a slightly different approach on "how to do it". This much I have gotten straight. Do it in the bios, stay away from most windows based apps. NP there as the bios doesn...

I never doubted when I first heard of the Dell Quad SLI rig, it would come out to the mainstream other than via Dell. To much at stake to leave it in Dells hands alone. Besides, that tactic would tick of the custom gaming builders like Alien-ware and so forth. What makes you think we won't see any ...

Re: HIS ATI Radeon 9250 problem
I used to have a ATI series 200 graphics card on my motherboard. It was alright but I couldnt get any of the newer games work right. After I got jerky graphics on the new punisher game I replaced it with a ATI HIS Radeon 9250. This as made matters worse. Now GTA San Andreas doesnt play at all. The ...

Re: PC Power and Cooling 510 SLI
But your rig doesn't even chew over 400W at maximum load. :P I suppose you could compare load vs. idle voltage difference against your original PSU to judge quality. The voltage value you get for each rail through multimeter is irrelavent as you could always fine tune the pots inside quality made PS...

There is one thing that i think intel always has as an advantage. Stablility: the intel CPU with Intel chipset gives a much more stable overall system. There are fewer quirks and hardware concerns when building an Intel based computer. This is not true with AMD systems. This is changing though as A...

Wasn't reading the question clearly...also have the option for an ATI crossfire setup instead of SLI or do u have to have a different MB?
As of now no Crossfire can run on nVidia chipset boards with SLI... yet.
