could try the windoze backup utility
you would still need the clean install
after reinstalling - run winblows backup and point to your backup location
do you have an extra hdd to backup to


to be honest - backup all thats important first (e-mail etc)

as afr as I know - the large cache mobile chips are dothan core (newer manufacturing process) theese have great performance they also have better speedstep technology this will save on battery power compaired to a higher MHz cpu, also run cooler in the end you prob won't notice a performance differe...

i tried the tool (which is really nice) but didn't work either :/ any suggestions left? :( ATI have their own uninstall utility - might try that? Do you have another agp card? to test with?
