Re: ASUS P9X79 Deluxe Motherboard Review

Yep that is what i used, right now I am using Ram DISK plus, it allows me to allocate a bit more memory as a storage device for 14 days, there are free Ram drive programs out there. Hereis a list of them, Ram Disk seems to be a bit faster then the few others I have played with.

Re: P8Z77-V no POST, BIOS or signals

You have an issue with the memory, compatibility issue, turn off machine, press the mem ok button, hold for a couple of seconds then reboot machine.

Re: P8Z77-V no POST, BIOS or signals

pull everything off but the cpu heat sink 1 stick of memory, and plug the monitor to the onboard video. if no go pull the entire motherboard apart and see if you have any bent pins on the socket.

Re: who here knows lenses?

Well I gotten the 55-250mm EF-S lens in last friday, I will have to say I am somewhat impressed with it, considering i only paid 200 bones for it. the biggest problem I am facing with the lens is that it does not do so well in low light situations ](*,) at least not as good as my past 18-200mm lens ...

Re: Mini ITX Build w/ InWin BP671.200BL Slim Case

What is really funny, that juts a couple of years ago you couldnt build a decent rig for less then 600 USD for a basic internet/HTPC box. Now you can build a decent little gaming rig for around, comparable to a console more specifically, for around the same cost. Looks like a clea set up Nate i like...

Re: i5-3450 3.1GHz @ 3.9GHz

thats a non k series CPU, the CPU will adjust automatically according to what you are doing so it will bounce from one to the next, when you have speed step turned on. According to intel that CPU's max Quad CPU turbo multiplier is 35 ( HERE ) i am guessing the 3.9GHz you are seeing is when the CPU i...

Re: Water cooling

Everytime I try and do a similar set up my flow rate goes to crap, and the heat starts climbing. The only reason why i am using a large res is so that it can fit the 2 pumps I am using in to it. I did have a smaller one but it was a pain to work with. as far as barbs being slightly larger, you are s...
