Re: Post Your Rig!
Yeah, the GTX series is awesome. I did notice something interesting on the video card's box. XFX had specific recommendations for power supplies listed, and they said for a GTX 280 SLI setup that a minimum of 680W was required. That seems REALLY low for two GTX cards. Most sites I've read about the ...

Re: Post Your Rig!
Alright, I've finally gotten around to posting some pics of my rig. I wanted to wait until I plopped my GTX 280 in there before I did so. And yes, before the ATI faithful descend upon me, I know that the 4870 is a better price/performance purchase, but I'm more concerned with the performance part of...

Re: 6pin to 8pin converter on GPU
I don't see any reason it wouldn't work. I'm using an 8 pin to 6 pin adapter on my current video card and I've had no problems. Especially if an adapter is specifically made for that purpose, I'd assume you wouldn't have any problems with it.

Re: Which processor is better?
Intel's Core 2 line is king of the hill right now, their performance dominates AMD's. That isn't to say that AMD's chips are bad, they're actually great chips that are perfect for inexpensive, lite weight machines. I build computers as a side job/hobby. The only Intel chips I ever install are for us...

Re: Any one can help??? about RAM
Remove your fan and heat-sink over your processor, remove all of the old thermal paste from the CPU and heat sink, re-seat the CPU and reapply a thin layer of thermal paste. I've encountered a similar problem where the PC would not POST and the cause turned out to be a ridiculous excess of thermal p...

Two of these or the GTX+ cards would be an awesome setup.
