Re: Android Phone Aggravations
search for z4root and see if that one-click root app will work for your LG. I just used it this weekend on my Droid X. The temporary root feature was not working for me even though it completed, but the permanent root worked perfectly. I also have the option to un-root later if I feel like it.

Re: AMD Radeon HD 6950 & 6970 CrossFire Video Card Reviews
Nice write-up, but I'm not very impressed with the card. It's a good thing I'm not in the market for a new card quite yet! At $369 the AMD Radeon HD 6970 is priced to compete with the NVIDIA GeForce GTX 570 and we have to say the two cards traded blows. Why did you say the cards "blow" a ...

Bah... I answered the question of the thread title... not the question of the poll. I meant to say "no, he will not start", but instead said "yes, his streak is over"... lol.

Re: Acer Aspire 1551 11.6-inch Notebook Review - AMD Turion
Like the review... puts my X340 to shame in performance and battery life, but that's what happens over the course of a year.
Also, these low end, <=$500 notebooks are perfect for students to use in class! (I can vouch for that)

Cook's Source Editor Judith Griggs
Judith Griggs is getting ripped a new one today from creative professionals across the world for copying and re-printing someones article in their magazine without the author's permission. I like the parking meter example... but since the network knows exactly who parked there, you could get a parking ticket in your inbox as soon as the meter expires ...

Re: Droid X On The Way!
I just picked up my Droid X from Best Buy yesterday... so far I love it. Still have 20% battery after 10.5 hours of use... much better battery life than I feared. I haven't had a lot of time to play with many apps, and still getting used to the overall layout of the OS... I came from an old Blackber...

Re: Should McChrystal have been fired?
I don't have a link, but I know you should be able to find it. But he wasn't fired... he submitted his resignation as soon as he was recalled to Washington DC. All Obama did was meet with him in private and the end result of the meeting is that Obama accepted his resignation. I'm sure Obama felt bli...

Re: ATI Cuts Video Card Warranty To One Year
Wow... just wow. All Apop said was ATI (yes, AMD owns the brand ATI, we all know that) does not sell cards anymore, meaning you can only buy ATI cards from 3rd parties (ASUS, HIS, Powercolor, XFX, MSI, etc). This thread was pertaining to before AMD bought them and you could buy an ATI branded card s...

Re: Police release video of mob attacking cab after Lakers game
Ya, only LA has a 'happy mob'... it's sad the rest of the country has to compare this and say 'at least it wasn't an angry mob!' All the news stations were predicting this and saying there were going to be mobs whether they won or lost... it just depended on how nasty they were going to get and how ...

Due to the fast pace in which Google Voice is still being developed and tweaked, portions of the scripts and such have been changed and in some cases re-written. Refer to the latest guide over at NerdVittles.com to install their latest script with their latest instructions. The portions in my articl...

Re: Will the BP 'Top Kill' Work?
The BP CEO just gave an update that things are going to plan, but made no comment about wtf the plume showing on the live feed is from. Did the BOP rupture? All Tony said was that neither increases or decreases in flow are an indicator of the success of the project at this point... seems to me that ...

From my two primary accounts: LR - 4% with 4000 unarchived messages in the inbox and another 900 in sent items. Personal - 5% with 2200 in the inbox and another 450 in sent items. I'm sure Nate has a ton more email and spam that I do, but I'm shocked he is near capacity if it is only email. Surely t...
