I used to use dvd decrypter and Pinnacle Instant Copy 7 with great results.
I don't think Pinnacle makes it anymore.
Back when SVCD was the big thing, I used DVD2SVCD and CCE 2.50.

I tried it but for some reason it caused all of my downloads to be corrupted.
(Asus A8N-E onboard lan) I tried a few different drivers with the same result.

It seems to be a common problem with some chipset fans. The fans can spin at over 5000 rpm and the bearings wear out over time.

I tried it with a Verbatim 1 GB thumb drive and find some programs do open a little quicker.
