Re: Memory Issue with DG43RK Motherboard

One other thing. How many hard drives do you have? If you have a raid 0 setup you must first install drivers from Intel via floppy disc. It's best to only use one hard drive when trying to instal windows.

Re: Memory Issue with DG43RK Motherboard

Let us know how it turns out. I think that you need that pin type connecter has something to do with Intel uses dos in their bios. Have you put your copy of windows in while trying to boot? You may need to reinstall windows. Disconnect any usb devices.

Re: Memory Issue with DG43RK Motherboard

One more thing that might be your issue. Does your keyboard use a usb cable or do you have the pin type? I remember with my Intel badaxe2 motherboard it would not boot unless I used the pin type connector for my keyboard and mouse. Hope that helps. Once I was able to load windows and drivers I coul...

Re: Memory Issue with DG43RK Motherboard

I am going to say the obvious, check your connections and make sure your cpu is seated properly and thermal paste is applied correctly. What kind of cooling do you have for your cpu?

Re: Memory Issue with DG43RK Motherboard

What is your CPU? Is your memory DDR2 or DDR3? I think we need to know more about your components before we give advice. So please fill in the blanks. What O.S. are you using? Have you updated your drivers and flashed your bios to accept the new motherboard? Stuff like that.

mmi, Thank you for your reply. :) I thought I was the only one that was thinking it was excessive. Almost word for word about my question. Wow!

Re: Presidential Candidate Debate Tonight

After watching the debate, here is my take. Doesn't matter how you spin it. We are screwed, doesn't matter who wins, they basically said the same thing. We are so far in the hole (deficit) wise. That it doesn't matter because we cannot dig ourselves out of the hole that we have dug. I am very sad th...

Re: How to fix the budget deficit!

Need to ask a question to anyone that has a possible answer? Why does it take a fire truck, paramedic vehicles, ambulance, and a pumper fire truck just to respond to a nursing home? Seems like a big waste of money to me. I see this all the time where I live. You get all the sirens going and moving t...

Re: First impressions of the Apple I-Phone 5

Well Natasha did the same test with the camera. She did not encounter the issue that the other reviewer had. Taking a picture of the sun did not give the redness the the other reviewer posted. So I don't think that there is anything wrong with the camera. I have to be honest and give credit where cr...

Re: How to fix the budget deficit!

I didn't really think you see firearms as a valid means of settling political disagreements. Let's hope things don't get to that point. Of course not. Just starting a new hobby. :) I sure hope not. As I expect you know, that would reverse a longstanding trend. Violent crime rates in 2011 continued ...

Re: How to fix the budget deficit!

mmi, you kind of made my point. I do think we think the same so we have the same views. The only thing I see going up next year is crime. The guns I am talking about are hunting guns. I want to start a collection. I believe that is my right. If it so happens that some poor fool tries to break in to ...

Re: First impressions of the Apple I-Phone 5

I already purchased the Convenience Package through Verizon. It includes a case, screen protector, and a bullet that you plug into you car lighter that coverts to a usb adapter. Went to Apple store and bought a lightening cable to usb cable. As far as battery drain goes, I think that there is a buil...

Re: How to fix the budget deficit!

mmi, Do you really believe the numbers? The US economy is in the toilet. Just look what is going on with US Postal Service. http://money.msn.com/business-news/article.aspx?feed=AP&date=20120928&id=15611621. IMHO, all the numbers are fake and the real numbers won't come out til after the elec...

She is also complaining about battery drain. She says that when not in use it still drains the battery. Maybe this in normal, I don't know. Any complaints on battery drain?

You ought to be happy that she is not complaining about the rattling noise it makes, scratches on it from the factory, that the aluminum back scratches very easily, lousy wi-fi signal, bubbles in the touchscreen, light leaks, and any of the other problems that have been reported with the iPhone 5. ...

First impressions of the Apple I-Phone 5

All I am hearing from Natasha is how she misses Google Maps. That's all I hear day in and day out. I wish I never bought her the Apple I-Phone 5. Is there a way to put Google Maps on her damn phone?

Re: been interesting day yesterday

You must have been tired or frustrated to make that kind of boo boo. Sometimes its just better just to walk away then to do what you did. I hope everything works out for you. You should have just slept on it. Wake up in a refreshed mood than to do something harsh or worse, like loosing your data. An...
