OK, I give; I'll even shoot that dead horse again myself. :axe:
Haven't played Metro yet, is it a Steam activated product?
Metro looks impressive, should work on my system, I hope.

Re: NVIDIA GeForce GTX 460 768MB and 1GB Video Card Reviews

I should just benchmark everything with Quake, Crysis and 3DMark :beatdeadhorse: Crysis, whether liked or hated, has a special place in benchmarking. :prayer: It created stunning graphics that were unplayable by ALL graphics cards at the time. It is, unfortunately, still unplayable by most graphic ...

Re: NVIDIA GeForce GTX 460 768MB and 1GB Video Card Reviews

But will it play Crysis? Answer, no, not even in SLI. It's a good card but won't play the tough games. :( Answer this question honestly. Did you really think Crysis was a good game? To me it was a huge disappointment. When it came out it was more of a tech demo than anything else. Not a Huge Disapp...

Re: ASUS ARES 4GB Limited Edition Video Card Review

Great review on a Great card. Kudos for a beautiful execution of design and function. Not easy to keep a card this cool. No mention is typically made of the card's smoothness when running benchmarks and games in these reviews (unless the choppiness is severe). I can get high marks occasionally in my...

Re: Lead Reduction

No change in temp,
leads weren't really clogging up the flow,
just got in the way of things
(imagine getting that friggin nVidia 295 brick in and out of the case)
and looked VERY unprofessional (the Antec has a nice window on the side for all to see).

Lead Reduction

Thanks Apo Your suggestion to break open my Corsair PSU and remove/shorten leads made a real difference. Wasn't simple, but I can actually see things now. This older Corsair 750 comes with TOOO many leads and they are REAL long (that's good and bad) Before http://i759.photobucket.com/albums/xx240/jn...

Great Review Apo!
Looks like a incredible deal at 1/4 the price of the Intel processor.
Now if the software people could just get their act together (to utilize all them cores) ..... still waiting.

Re: Windows 7 Sleep Hotfix

Does this fix the "coming gout of sleep" shut down-restart problem for overclocked systems? I've heard that it is unwise and even life threatening to place an overclocked machine in sleep as it can fricassee the MoBo. I have done this unwittingly (placed my machine in sleep) and had my mac...

Does the PC have to be inside a refrigerator to operate.
I recall the old mainframe days, freezing to death in the computer lab with my stack of punch cards.
Are we returning to these day?

Maybe if we modify the heat sink.
That's it, a Canola cooled heat sink.
I'll start working on the thermodynamics.

Re: NVIDIA GeForce GTX 480 GF100 DX11 Video Card Review

If you factor in heat and power consumption, it is as if this new card has done nothing…i.e., more speed thru a super duper heat sink and more power.
Great review though, really spells it out.
The card seems too max’ed out though.
A long wait for not much.
