Re: Intel Core i7-2820QM - Sandy Bridge For Notebook PCs
I was interested in seeing the performance of the IGP of the Sandy Bridge processor. Not bad, I think it's approaching current generation console levels.

Re: Nyko Zero Wireless Controller for Playstation 3
MotioninJoy has unofficial drivers for Playstation 3 controllers: http://www.motioninjoy.com/
Not sure if they'll work with third-party controllers, but I think it will.

This is actually pretty exciting as this acts as another building block towards realizing fully-functional robots.

I think this would have been better used on the 6970 or even the next series with the die shrink.

I was waiting for this to make the jump from 10.10. I'm currently downloading 10.12 APP edition.

Re: NVIDIA announces CUDA-x86
Pretty cool that they're expanding the platforms that CUDA code can run on. Too bad they're being stubborn about keeping GPU CUDA exclusive to Nvidia GPUs. OpenCL still seems a more likely standard because of how open it is and how it can work on a lot more platforms. That Ocelot thing sounds intere...

Re: Tis the Season of DDoS – WikiLeaks Edition
Besides, even if the majority of leaks deal with the United States, they do happen to be the most influential government in the world.

Re: Tis the Season of DDoS – WikiLeaks Edition
Wikileaks filters what they leak so it's not like they just throw out whatever they can get without any consideration of the implications.

Re: Tis the Season of DDoS – WikiLeaks Edition
Wikileaks gives more transparency to the government, which is highly valuable. Don't believe the lies about endangering people's lives. What has been leaked has not endangered anyone's life. It's just a lie spread around in an attempt to undermine Wikileaks.

Re: Samsung Readies Green Memory With 3D Chip Stacking
I had been hearing of 3D chip stacking years back thinking that it'd take forever to come out. I'm looking forward to seeing this sort of technology entering the mainstream market, hopefully soon.

Re: RunCore Releases Massive 1TB 3.5-inch SATA III SSD
Impressive! I'm liking the progress that SSD is making. Hopefully the prices will go down just as quickly and ancient platter-style hard-drives will be phased out. SATA III reaching its limit is interesting. Is SATA IV in the works?

Re: AMD, Intel & Others Phasing Out Analog Display Connectio
PC monitors and TVs seem so similar. Why are they saying DisplayPort should be for PC monitors and HDMI should be for TVs? The only difference I'm thinking of is the carrying of sound in that monitors are less likely to have built-in speakers. Though I would think the royalty-free nature of DisplayP...

Quite elaborate for one door of the house. It would be annoying to have a bunch of doors like that in a hallway, especially with motion sensing.
