Not so sure about the colossus, but that second one sure looks good.

A good one would have been the TDP of the cards.

Re: GPU3 Open Beta Released!
Likewise threw it on my GTX480 (at the stock for my card of 720 core, 950 mem) and it was doing 36seconds/frame, which put it just under the hour mark.
Should be getting around 15k ppd at this rate.

Very interesting take on the 4 way SLI thing. Can see how it's a much better solution for most people.

I've got to give it to them, they're doing a good job at churning up interest for a company that's not got any products yet.

Re: OCZ Black Edition
Yeah it works :) You'll need to find the BIOS page that has all the voltage and frequency settings. Find whichever is the RAM frequency and if it's showing the speed as 533.3Mhz now, change it to 800Mhz. Else if it's showing as 1066Mhz now, change it to 1600Mhz. That might sound backwards logic, but...

Ring up your ISP, might be a problem at their end they are aware of, or could just be a simple fix while you're on the phone.

Hah, I was hoping no-one would notice
Yeah, I read the instructions once I'd finished and filled the loop, so realised my error! Will mess about with it when I
cba'd. Thanks for pointing it out.

Finally Finished!
So I'm afraid I was so eager to finally finish this rig, that I didn't take anything else in the way of assembly shots, but I hope the final product shots will make up for that :) http://img204.imageshack.us/img204/8420/swiftechgtzwaterblock.jpg I took that long to get watercooling up and running th...

The End Is Near :D
So we all know how hot and loud the GTX480 is, so something had to be done about that. I wonder what will happen if I take this off. http://img23.imageshack.us/img23/7724/gtx480shroudremoving.jpg Hmm, there's still more junk that's not needed under here. http://img291.imageshack.us/img291/9341/gtx48...

GTX 480 Has Arrived!!!
So, after what must nearly be a year of not really doing much (besides running this rig on air), I've finally done some more work on this mod. Here's the reason why: http://img294.imageshack.us/img294/7767/gtx480haslanded.jpg :D Will fill you all in tomorrow, when I've had chance to edit the picture...

Re: Leo system(my new build)
For me 600gb was too much as i install all the games i have and not delete them unless i don't play it anymore at all.... 128gb isn't enough and 600gb is abbit much but its nice to have extra space, and unlike ssd's it doesn't slow down when it gets close to maximum capacity... also best for price/...

I'm surprised memtest didn't pick up any problems. :-/
Is that board or chipset known for being picky with RAM? Does it have a very long QVL list for approved RAM?

Re: PC Power & Cooling Silencer Mk II Power Supply Line Released
My Silencer 750 Quad Crossfire has been rock solid for over two years now, quiet too despite the 80mm fan. Just wish they would make the thing modular.. I had one of those, but the 80mm fan was too much, if your ambient is loud(ish) it's fine, but with slow speed 120mm fans, the PSU was the loudest...
