I have been kicking around that idea as well. If I go for the 955 I am hoping for a price drop when they release the 965.

well hopefully they will get things sorted out before I buy the rest of my parts. I have been reading the rumors about the 965 BE and am considering holding off until the release for my next upgrade.

AMD has been coming out with some pretty strong CPUs lately. I am seriously considering upgrading to a 955/965 BE in the near future.

It amazes me how out of control Obama is whith spending. There was a heading on the news last night saying Obama plans to speed up his stimulus spending. SPEED UP?!? I'm glad we have term limits on presidents but I still worry about how much damage Obama is going to do considering he hasn't even bee...

i7 is still pretty pricey so I am guessing 775 will be around for a while for mainstream computer users - esp. since a decent C2D or C2Q is plenty fast to power most of the programs and games out there.
