Re: Prolimatech Genesis CPU Cooler Review - The Super Cooler
Great review as usual! However, I would have liked to have seen how this fan effects the northbridge and motherboard temperatures. The idea of a horizontal and vertical combination unit leads me to believe this unit may be better than other coolers when you look at overall system cooling. Can you te...

Re: Intel Acquires Key Assets from Cray Inc.
Read the replies at Fudzilla after the source article. The article is somewhat biased toward Intel, while downplaying Seamicro. It does seem the move, if true, was a "reaction" to AMD and Seamicro's deal. There is more to it. hmmm...

Re: PC Gaming Headsets?
I went through several cheaper brands before spending more (not too much) on a nice pair of Creative Fatal1ty Gaming Headsets. The sound is great, great for music and gaming and people have commented on how good my mic sounds on Teamspeak 3. I did get them on a Newegg sale at one time. I think they ...

Re: NVIDIA GeForce GTX 680 Video Card Review
Great news and thanks for sharing this through a very thorough review!!! I'm glad to see competition heating up again, but the way NVidia was bragging they would crush AMD's 7970....I expected a bigger jump in benchmarks. It's still impressive, don't get me wrong. Some folks will say it does dominat...

Re: ASRock Extreme 9 Motherboard Review
I think they all make great boards. The competition helps us consumers. I own 2 Asus, 2 Gigabyte, 1 AsRock, 1 Foxconn, and 2 MSI boards. I had to RMA my Foxconn A7DA-S mobo but the replacement has been working for a couple years. The only bad mobo I have ever had was a PC Chips board (cheap one) and...

Re: AMD 1090T AND INTEL 2500K
SAP software is for small to medium businesses. If you have a small business with just a couple machines your choices above may suffice. However, I'm thinking you need to choose a server if you're hosting your inventory, etc. on a network or online, accessible to your staff as well as consumers/user...

Yeah, I figured that and I'm sure there were many people misled initially. I wasn't criticizing the review, it was a great one and actually timely. Maybe Gigabyte is directing their efforts into something better.

Re: GIGABYTE GA-X79-UD7 Motherboard Review
A shame this review came a day after Newegg ran out and won't be getting more since it was a limited run from Gigabyte. Even among enthusiasts, the UD5 will likely be enough mobo--since the top gpu's are a bit too expensive to buy 4 of. Gigabyte took the showbiz slogan of "Always leave them wan...

Re: Deepcool Gamer Storm Dracula VGA Cooler Review
I'm curious how this type of cooler would effect overclocking a gpu, but I honestly expected cooler temps to be registered in the article. How does it compare to the "stock" cooler?

Wow--seeing the CES 2012 coverage of the Trinity laptop---I'm convinced...AMD is on to something here! That thing is sweet!

Re: Microsoft Posts Correct Hotfix For AMD Bulldozer Process
I'm curious to see the benchmarks post-hotfix. I've felt that the chip was a little ahead of the OS and other software (benchmarking), design-wise from all I've read. That doesn't change the fact that it was majorly disappointing and even with the mentioned percentage of improvements from the hotfix...

Re: CES 2012: EVGA SR-X Dual Socket 2011 Motherboard & Power
Wow! Love those power supplies!!! The USB connection would be great to monitor power usage, etc. (Similar to monitoring my surge protection and power backup w/APC Powerchute software). For enthusiasts this sounds great.

Next gen APUs (Trinity)--next gamer pcs?
With the improvements in the HD 7000 gpu series combined with the next APU chips, do you think they will make up the next enthusiast gamer pcs based on an AMD platform? I'm thinking that the graphics (formerly ATI) side of AMD has been their saving grace. I do think the future is fusion. Intel does ...

I found the original Chinese website link with the leak. The chart is the only thing I can read. It is disappointing.
Phenom ii x8 2820, 95w, 2.8ghz, 2MB L2, 8MB L3, A1 stepping.
Phenom ii x8 3020, 125w, 3.0ghz, 2mb L2, 8mb L3, B0 stepping.
Who knows how reliable the chart is.
