Re: cant follow links

KnightRid is correct, I seem to recall during the installation of Chrome it asked if I want to set it as default browser.

Re: cant follow links

Have you tried making 32 bit IE or another browser your default browser to see what happens? I'm running Windows 7 64 bit but I use Chrome or 32 bit IE for my browsers. Some web pages didn't seem to work properly in IE 64 bit for me.

Re: Home Bar build

Looks great. I like to color of the walls. Looks like the same color we've got here at our place. It was kind of hard to envision looking at it on the paint chip and in the can, but once it was on the walls we loved it. We used white moldings to accent it.

Re: ** Official ASUS Poll & Discussion - LAN Controllers **

I prefer Intel but the board in my signature has a Realtek controller so I'm making due with what I've got. I've noticed when it comes out of sleep it takes a while for the device to start working. Never had that problem with my Intel controllers.

Another vote for Chrome here. Been using it for about two years now, seems stable and pretty fast to me.

Re: USB 3.0 Hub?

Well it arrived yesterday and I'm pretty happy with how it came out. I was able to route the cables behind my mobo via openings in the case and instead of using their expansion card thing with grommets. I used the water cooling grommets that are in the top back of my Coolermaster HAF 922 because the...

Re: USB 3.0 Hub?

I showed you that one since it's just regular USB headers. It isn't the special USB 3.0 header for a motherboard. Ahh! My mistake, I totally missed that. My case has two grommets for water cooling hoses that look like they'd be just right for running the cable for it. Thanks Major A . Just ordered ...

Re: USB 3.0 Hub?

Have you considered something like this? http://www.silverstonetek.com/product.php?pid=275&area=en http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16817997021&nm_mc=OTC-Froogle&cm_mmc=OTC-Froogle-_-Accessories+-+Hard+Drive-_-Silverstone-_-17997021 I had considered those but looking ...

USB 3.0 Hub?

I finally picked up my first USB 3.0 device, a Mushkin Ventura Pro flash drive. Now the problem….my system only has USB 3.0 ports accessible from the rear of the case so it's a PITA to pull the tower out to take advantage of the ports. I need to purchase a USB 3.0 hub, anybody here tried one and can...

Re: Windows Aggravation Need Help

I opened up my "God Mode" but couldn't find anything that I thought would resolve it either. Let me know if you find the fix as I too don't like the details, I prefer the large icons, especially for my music, video and picture files.

Thanks for posting the video, seems very timely given that it's the holiday season. I agree with vbironchef, wish everybody could do something like this all the time, not just during the holidays.

Re: FedEx Monitor Toss

Where's the follow-up story? Was it damaged? They pack those boxes to take some abuse, I wouldn't be surprised if nothing was wrong with it. Here's what the person who posted it on youtube said: "Here is a video of my monitor being "delivered". The sad part is that I was home at the ...

Re: Have You Been *Denied* A Mail In Rebate?

I try to shop smart using MIR's but they are a pain in the butt. I'm sure most manufactures and retailers are playing the law of averages which is that most people won't complete the rebate forms so they have actually sold the item at full retail. I really wish they would just lower the price to wha...
