What? They did the same thing with 360. Except that 360 demos were run on dual G5s because of their PPC CPUs. Even the early devkits were G5s. As for Revolution (I refuse to call it Wii), I'd be willing to guess it's the same story. Don't see the big deal really... except that Sony is still doing th...

im guessing theres built-in drivers for the one you buy from MS... and thats the only way to get it to work, thus stopping u from using any old Wifi adapter.... Exactly. However, if you can find an adapter that uses ethernet as a means of connection, then the 360 won't be able to tell the differenc...

If you mean StarForce, no. Ubi dropped it, so GRAW is using SecuROM 7. Also I think that the co-op with 4 players is LAN...

Your combat buddies are Special Ed. Tell me about it. Once my sniper slid halfway down a slope on some level and tried to walk back up. Just stayed there walking up to no avail like an idiot. I tried pushing him up but that didn't work, then I tried pushing him down and the guy actually walks back ...

Is this available yet? Ironically... in illegal channels... yes... In retail... ehh... still a few days away, lol. I got tired of waiting, so I'm playing it right now. Will definitely be buying the retail so that I can get some multiplayer co-op action though. http://xs78.xs.to/pics/06176...

Ghost Recon: Advanced Warfighter

http://www.gamespot.com/pc/action/tomclancysghostrecon3/news.html?sid=6148407 The PC version has larger and different levels than those featured on the Xbox 360, as well as a different graphics engine and style of gameplay. It will have a vastly different multiplayer suite, as well. Advanced Warfig...

Definitely the Call of Duty series (1 & 2).

That or Battlefield 2, though its single player is a bit stale, it's designed for multiplayer, and it's a lot of fun. Never gets old like many other shooters.

Don't really see the point. If I wanted something slightly more stable and a whole lot less compatible that Windows I could just install (or CD boot into) linux. :P All the RISC/PPC "graphics power" propaganda is a non-issue now, and most of said demonstrations were rigged/bribed anyway, s...

And as I'm sure you are probably already aware of, getting a new, better CPU heatsink/fan is probably the only way to go if you want somthing quieter. I've heard good things about the Arctic Cooling Freezer 64 . Seems to be nice and quiet and cools good enough unless you plan on overclocking to the...

I understand what you mean, but the case has been for the most part been marketed as being able to suppress noise whatever it may be coming from, and from what I can tell in the last day or two, it's still pretty damn loud. Messing with SpeedFan has allowed me to lower the CPU fan speed, but as soon...

Awesome post and thanks for taking the time to put it all up! Did you look at the LR system guides at all before you built it? Just noticed some hardware matching ;) So do you like it? I noticed some matching hardware too when I looked over the guides some time ago too. :P "Hey! That's the cas...

Just did some testing, and framerates are fairly decent after messing with a few ini tweaks. I most sincerely have a newfound respect for the Xenon GPU in the Xbox360. My friend who has it can run Oblivion so smoothly at 720p, yet my frames at 720p will drop to an unplayable 10fps in grassy areas wi...
