Re: AMD Shows off 24 Panel Eyefinity on DirectX 11 Graphics Card

I have yet to see a game really taxes my GTX 260 enough that I consider the upgrade. Before the XBox 360 and PS3 it seems like there was a lot more push for newer tech than the complacency of game developers today. No doubt, kind of weird, but usually I upgrade my video card once every 6 months in ...

Re: In need of a Camera

Why don't they just make a digicam with an oversized sensor, say a superzoom with a big sensor. Even if it was a nice $600 it would be worth having the sensor of a DSLR with the focal range of 25-500 and not have to lug around lenses....

Re: Need to Format Dell, do not have Dell OS disk

Just make sure you aquire the proper Windows.
For example, if you have Windows Home, or Windows Media Center you have to use the exact type of Windows you have in order for the key to work.

Re: In need of a Camera

Once I get the money in hand I will start researching more. I am leaning toward a dslr for the upgradability of it. P&S you are limited with what you can do. I would like to be able to take fast shots to catch my son doing the things he does and will do. Plus if he ever gets into school plays w...

Re: Class 6 vs Class 10 SD cards

Well, before I even started HD Tune I knew something was up. If I enable burst mode. I can shoot 16 pictures in 9.6ish seconds. Each picture about 3.5mb. The total MB in 9.6 seconds was 56mb. Now when I shoot in Raw. I can shoot 2 pictures in 10 seconds.....Each picture is about 14.5mb. So I'm assum...

Re: Class 6 vs Class 10 SD cards

So to test my camera speed vs memory card speed what would I do? I'll do this and tell me if I'm in the right direction. 1) Take pictures for 10 seconds 2) Divide total MB by 10 3)find the Mb/sec I'm writing to my card 4)Run HDTune on my memory card and see if the write speed is faster than that... ...

Re: Need to Format Dell, do not have Dell OS disk

no just do yourself a HUGE FAVOR. Download the drivers for Ethernet and wireless however you connect to the internet. I know dell's website is a little messed up, but you can get the drivers from them still. as long you have that you can download the rest of the drivers when you put your computer ba...

Class 6 vs Class 10 SD cards

I know the classes are a bit of a gimmick for the most part. But, as I have learned the class is basically the MB per second the card can write at a sustained rate. Now I'm confused on the maximum rates I'm seeing on some cards vs sustained.... Let's get on with why I'm posting. I have a Panasonic F...

Re: SD/SDHC card question

For your camera. if you hold the button down as in burst, how many pictures can you take in 10 seconds? Take that number and add up the file sizes for the pictures. And find out how fast your camera is transferring. If the number is less than the speed of your memory card then you are not memory spe...

Re: In need of a Camera

well, if budget is a concern do not get a DSLR I assure you it will eat holes in the holes in your pocket. Lenses go for a pretty penny to say the least. Why not just get a really high end P&S. I got the Panasonic FZ28 and have had no problems. they have even nicer ones now like the Canon SX20, ...

Re: Internet is spazzing out and making me crazy

I'm not sure what it is anymore, it seems to be fine now, but I have had 4 of my customers call me and complain about the same thing. I reset my modem and wireless router at the same time. When I was about to test it I had to leave the house for the day and never got to see if that helped. But, when...

Internet is spazzing out and making me crazy

Every time I try to stream a video, it cuts out. I have multiple computers on the network and my computer seems to be the only one with issues. I've replaced my wireless card. I've directly connected with a wired connection. And no matter what I do I can now watch a full TV show on hulu for anything...

what type of pics are you looking to take. What zoom range are you looking for. I have a pretty good amount of info I can offer on budget cameras and purposes for the ones I suggest.

GET A MODULAR!! I can not believe I saved $20 to have my case look awful. lol, Even if you do not have a clear side panel for airflow the modular is better, I have so many wires tucked I can't get the back side of my case closed without a lil force.

I figured I'd bump this because I'm really curious to know if there is a program that can work through dos, into the loading of windows and into windows and give you a result... I don't think there is a way, but if there is I'm interested to find out!

isn't that what the 80% efficient thing means?
If you use 350watts you are using like 450 max from the wall.
