My 2 Cents
I am using the Corsair and am pleased with the performance and quality. Currently running 4-4-4-12 @ 2.12v with no problems. Newegg price was good along with rebate. I've had it as fast as 493mhz (986) no problems.

Zalman 9500
I have Zalman 9500 on my current set up: E6700 @ 3.0ghz as well as my old AMD 4800X2. Works well on both systems and keeps both CPU's nice and cool on air. Can't complain about the effectiveness given the price and ease of installation. Newer model is 9700 and is supposed to be better.

My solution
My solution was to not run CPU-Z BEFORE trying to check mobo status with dekstop utility. Not sure why but EVERY time I checked my FSB speed or memory in CPU-Z, then tried to open desktop utility to check fans and temp, desktop utility would freez my PC. Not sure if this helps or if it's just me or ...

Same Problems
I've had the same problems with Desktop Control Center. Have correct version for my D975XBX2, have tried to uninstall and reinstall. Have come to the conclusion I'm better off making adjustments in BIOS.
