Re: WMC Alternative

Thank you for the suggestion! Unfortunately, I can't get the plug-in to work (it crashes after 10-15 seconds of being open). I tried the suggestions in their troubleshooting guides, but to no avail and uninstalled and reinstalled 3 times...oh well, think i'll put one of my spare external USB hard dr...

WMC Alternative

Anyone have any suggestions for a better option for media streaming than Windows Media Center??? I have WMC on my computer, and stream to my XBox 360...There's nothing wrong with WMC, per se, it's just really plain, and bland-looking...Am I missing something with it? Should I consider a different pr...

Re: Little Modded Antec

Thanks, man. It's not that hard, just time comsuming, especially if you make a mistake (had one "oops" and had to break out the soldering iron). I got some UV lights coming for it, and some new fans. Plus got a new hold down plate on its way for my new water block. When that happens, UV co...

New SSD boot drive question

Ok LR'ers, here's the question: I plan on ordering my spanking new SSD for my boot drive this weekend, and I currently have a 500GB Seagate, which has Win7 64-bit and Ubuntu 10.04, as well as most of my programs. Also, I have a 1TB Seagate that I use for media storage only. When I reinstall Winders ...

Little Modded Antec

Recently did a little modding to my case, and I thought I'd share...Enjoy!
Rubber-covered jig feet. Had to do this cuz the table that the case sits on is recessed, and the case needs a little more altitude.

Re: Who has Call of Duty: Black Ops??

Multi-player = cheaters all over the place, it's crazy. Co-op = so friggin cool to have teammates that wont freak out and just run into a hail of bullets because the AI wants to commit suicide lol Yeah Knight, it took my friends and I about 8 hours to notice the funny gameplay inherent with the che...

Re: Who has Call of Duty: Black Ops??

Just started the single player campaign, and it's pretty sweet! Played some multiplayer earlier, and like what they did with the maps...The maps are larger and much more detailed, which can cause quite a bit more camping, but that may be due to the unfamiliarity of the maps and game. They did work o...

Re-Animating an old eMac

Hey all!! Got an idea and need some help. Tell me what ya think with input, ideas, feedback, etc... The Scenario: I have an old eMac G4, with a 1GHz PowerPC chip, and well, it's a relic and it's taking up desk space. I can't update it. Apple won't support it (go figure). And oh yeah, another problem...
