Can you change to configuration in your BIOS from RAID to BASE ( or something similiar ) ? I know on this Gigabyte I can change my RAID to act the same as regular IDE or SATA connectors, basically giving me more drives I can add with no RAID. Mike I hope that helps at least a little bit. I think that is the only change you will need, since I BELIEVE Dell uses standard motherboard screw locations. I do NOT recommend doing this, but if you have to.
I would also say to reinstall Windows. Make sure to delete all partitions using the windows install program, then create a big one, or as many little ones as you want.
