Re: Logitech Introduces G500 Gaming Mouse & G330 Gaming Headset
I love my G5, and this seems nothing more than an upgrade to it. I like the feel with all the heavy weights in it, and the 3200dpi (sometimes) usually leave it on medium settings. 5700dpi sounds overkill but fun at the same time. I say get one apop.

Starcraft II No LAN abilty (sort of a rant)
I just thought I would throw this out there for those of you who looked forward to late night lan parties playing DOTA 2 in space for hours in a friends basement with low latencies of lan and drinking cases of mountain dew and rockstar. No this will not be eh case. No you cannot play on garena or ho...

Laptop Sound is Choppy
So how do I diagnose the root cause of this? the Laptop sound is choppy both through external and internal speakers. I tried a turtle beach usb sound card and ran speakers through it and the sound is still choppy. What should my next step be to figure out why it sounds like I have mad sound lag spik...

Re: Windows Problem with TEMP Documents Folder
So I've now seen this problem come up three different times and the quick fix I did on two of them didn't work on another because their user accounts interface was different and needed a domain. What is causing this to happen on multiple different computers? Is this a virus? a common error with serv...

Re: I'm Stumped: Firefox 3.0 Sound Doesn't Work
oddly enough installing real player worked. I don't even ever use that program but for some reason it overrode something and fixed the problem so I guess that's that. I'd already tried installing vlc and reinstalling flash player.

I'm Stumped: Firefox 3.0 Sound Doesn't Work
OK this is something that has plagued me for a while on and off. My girlfriends computer has Firefox 3.0 and her sound doesn't work on anything in it. I've uninstalled Firefox and Registry and other files and reinstalled it to no avail. What I know: 1.) Sound works fine in IE 7 2.) She has Norton An...

I don't think so as when on another identical dock it works fine so it's a dock problem not the laptop as I found.

Re: What Causes A Computer To Run Slow
Ironically to all. The problem was not the laptop per se. As I suspected as I did run a memory test and reformatted it to fix it. The computer was still slow. It was the docking station. For some reason the docking station was causing documents to open slow and the internet to go slow and just was l...

What Causes A Computer To Run Slow
I'm talking really slow! A computer that should be quite fast. Its a core 2 duo t7200 or something. With 2gb of ram. It's a laptop. I've reformatted it and yet it still persists to be as slow as molasses. Opening documents in Office 2007 can take up to 5 min to just open a 1pg word document. When th...

Re: Anyone know how to disable skype supernode?
After searching around all day on and off, I found that skype itself posts a how to on it in a pdf document and a few websites do also. it's in the registry so obviously most people wouldn't do it. However people on this site aren't what I would call "most people" so there are a few sites ...

Anyone know how to disable skype supernode?
A problem at work is we have a very small wireless connection to the main part of our campus. Skype however is a very useful program for face to face speaking for regional offices if they want to have say a weekly meeting and don't' want an expensive conference call or video-conference. Skype howeve...

Re: Windows Problem with TEMP Documents Folder
As far as I can tell from reading around on the internet, it has to do with the local user being corrupted and windows creating that file to continue running smoothly. So I need to fix the files in there and back them up then find out how to change a registry or directory so I can use the correct fi...

Windows Problem with TEMP Documents Folder
I've got a computer that has had some problems while I've been out of town. I was wondering if any of you have seen this before. Here is the data I have gathered on the situation. 1.)The computer had a virus, may still. 2.) They ran a system restore to a week ago 3.) Windows Xp SP3 Now for the issue...

Re: Windows Crashing a lot
Haha forgot to fix what I was saying earlier. I did get two errors one time and that led me to believe one was bad. after stressing it a bit longer I foudn one stick giving me thousands of errors. definitely a bad stick. I don't know what test it was on when I only got the two though. The other stic...
