Re: Any Linux users out there?

OSX OS<X :) Linux (probably had to deal with almost every distro at some point) AIX SCO (Sco Unix, OpenServer and UnixWare) Solaris SunOS OpenSolaris BSD (free and open) I...

Re: Favorite Games
EvE, Tribes: Ascend, Skyrim, BF3
Not necessarily in that order. Are there no other EvE players here?

Re: email problem- returned mail messages
The important part of the email is: "The original message was received at Thu, 8 Mar 2012 21:30:05 -0600 from 201-68-4-113.dsl.telesp.net.br [201.68.4.113] Unless you are in Brazil this is just someone that is using your email address to send email (not your account). Anyone can say they are an...

Re: Server specs recommendation
Knowing your budget range would go a long way on this one. I will also assume you don't need to get GSA pricing or similar since you are only a local government. I have run into with a lot of small to medium size companies and even parts of the federal government on certain projects where they say t...

Re: NVIDIA 3D Vision 2 w/ 3D LightBoost Review
The frames are more of that goggles look and feel to them then the GI glasses. But yeah, i know what you mean. They are nice, but they are definitely not anything that I would wear with people over. NVIDIA went function over form for this revision of them.

Re: NVIDIA 3D Vision w/ ASUS VG236HE 3D Display Review
I do agree with you about the 3D tech that does not require glasses. The little I have seen it I am quite impressed. My only concern with it is ghosting, it is pretty bad on the smaller sized screens I have seen it used on already. What you have to remember with 3D vision is it is not meant for sitt...

Re: NVIDIA 3D Vision w/ ASUS VG236HE 3D Display Review
I am 30, not that I see how that is really relevant. The 3D Vision glasses weren't like I wasn't wearing anything at all, but it was not that far off from wearing a pair of plastic framed sun glasses, not uncomfortable by any means. The exception to this is something I did not find out until after t...

Re: NVIDIA 3D Vision w/ ASUS VG236HE 3D Display Review
My very first sentence is about how people have a huge variety of opinions on 3D in general. And to be honest, before this article I was not a huge fan of it. After writing it, my opinion has changed quite a bit overall. You have to remember that this type of 3D is not really designed to have things...
