there's even better setups than that and it only takes one screen. granted that is an awesome setup, barring the bezel distractions. but this single screen is about 8 feet around and it is concave so as you are sitting into it. it sets you so the edges pass your peripherial vision and costs around 8...

damn, too bad it's not a 478 socket match up, i've got my lovely 1600 to 2900mhz 478 P4 in an old i845E chipset mobo. AGP4X, DDR366 mem bus, but there's ways around that with the low chipset strap. hehe onlything i could go up to is the i875P and it's not really worth it as it's my third rig. i use ...

That's exactly what should happen....it does in Linux! If you have say 2GB the OS should use as much ram as it can and then the remaining should go to disk cache!!! I'm certain that's what Vista will do too.....*nix has been doing this since day one...... Does it drive you nuts like it does me when...

ah, well the smaller the cluster size, the less slack in the filing system and the less slack in the filing system the quicker the heads can read the data. think of it as taking out the spaces inbetween the data cluster writes. say i'm saving a 6K file, that would take two 4K cluster writes, this wo...

with a maglev pump, when you can tell it's running dry and if you should shut down, is a bit harder. the maglev will neveer squeal or really make any noise at all. the only way to tell if something's wrong or gone dry is if you feel it. you'll feel a tubmling bumping feeling, liken to tennis shoes i...
