Re: Cloning an m.2 PCiE to another m.2
Thanks for the reply but I'mvisiting my sis in NY and her laptop has only one m.2 slot and she has no external drives. I found an external casing for an m.2 at micro center for $15.99 and a 1TB m.2 PCiE nvme SSD on sale for $99 (down from $299) and she is happy to get those, so I can fix her problem...

Cloning an m.2 PCiE to another m.2
I know there is cloning software and this is not the issue. The issue is, how can I connect 2 m.2's phisicaly when there is only one m.2 slot on the laptop? is there a docking solution for m.2 ssd's? Edit: Seems the solution to this would be an m.2 PCiE external enclosure, that connects via USB port...

Re: New system
So it happened again with the windows update that came through. Computer locked up, power button would not shut it off and then it would not restart. I moved the cooler block around a bit (pushed in on it really) and then it booted up but the led is back to just red. I want to pull the water block ...

Re: New Custom Water Cooled Loop
Bummer. Must be some kind of leak. A drop of water is enough. My system is running without maintenance and leaking for 7 years now but I did extensive trials for leakage before firing up the system. Sorry for your loss. Hopefully it's just the MOBO ](*,) Did you try putting water towels everywhere, ...

Re: Is mining on a single RX580 worth it?
I realy hope that this whole mining bull**** goes down the drain as soon as possible. It should of never existed. Multiple GPU prices for the last few years now + humongous waste of electric power. It's disgusting.

Nice review. Too bad we didn't have much if any of WC cooling articles when the forums were still alive and kicking.

Re: APC Back-UPS 550 Finally Giving Scream of Death After 7 Years
Yes, I know lots of fakes. There is a chinese saying: "If you can con them, do it". This is theft. I always said thiefs should be hanged like they used to. Anyway, I always buy it on e-bay, look at ratings first, read reviews and if there is still a problem, than there is e-bay's money bac...

I would try e-bay first. Look for an aftermarket battery from china. They are usualy pretty good and cost fraction of the price with shipping incl.

Re: New system
Hm, the second pic is a clear improvement but I would just hide them more and tubeshrink the rest (not each one separetely but rather combining the ones that go in one direction) in one color, to make it nicer. As for airflow this already does the job.

glad you got it up and running finally. as for the app in windows having more options than the bios, is beyond me seeing as the bios/motherboard is what is controlling/power the aura. oh well have fun ;) RIGHT! It is so weird that Bios is more limited. Afraid to overclock just cause it is working g...

Re: Bios reset problem
BTW, I had to hunt for some DDR2 4GB 1066Mhz RAM kit, since the 2GB were not enough for some games (ex. Subnautica). Now with the OC'd CPU, GTX 660Ti and DDR2 4GB 1066Mhz RAM (800Mhz is not enough, 'cause of the CPU OC, that raises the RAM speed as well) My sons rig is pretty good now :) It runs pre...

!. Collection of taxes originaly started after the IIWW, so countries can rebuild their infrastructure and distroyed cities. It was supposed to be temporary. The IIWW was over 68y ago, taxes were not discontinued to be collected - on the contrary - there is a zilion of them added since. After a whil...

Re: Budget Mining On The Radeon RX 560, Radeon RX 550 and GeForce GTX 1050 Ti
A $199 Radeon RX 480 would pay for itself in under 2 months... Yeah, right. It would pay for itself the $199 card cost or the cost of these cards and all others going through the roof (On Amazon the cheapest I found is $440 and the most expensive retarded price is $720 now) because of this fu@ing m...

Re: Still Rocking The i7 2600k
Make sure the VRM's are not overheating. They can also heat up the MOBO around them and transfer more heat to the CPU, so if you lower the VRM's temps the CPU heat will also more likely be lower. I would also not go above 60C. I still have the 2500K @ 4.5Ghz and am happy with the performance. I used...

Re: Make your Rig a True 4K Gaming PC for the Holidays
So the only way it's worth to buy a 4K monitor is if we also get a 1080ti. Otherwise I'm better off with a 144hz, 1ms gaming monitor @ fullHD and everything on max, running @ 125-160fps.

The best gaming mouse I've ever used and great for everything else! Get it and you will not be disappointed. I did extensive research before getting it and did compare it to many other good ones.
