Re: Samsung 960 Pro 2TB NVMe M.2 PCIe SSD Review
Yeah, I understand this is the way it's been all around but still angers me. As for server RAID, I think the 400TB of lifespan at these speeds and temperatures(!) would not work. These expensive sticks would just burn down under heavy usage and even if the servers cooling would be set up like an ent...

Re: Samsung 960 Pro 2TB NVMe M.2 PCIe SSD Review
A titan X at $1200 is also BS. As far as I'm concerned, these are Small circuit boards, have couple of chips on them. This SSD probably doesn't cost more to make, than any other RAM stick, same goes for graphics cards. These prices are insane and just show how greedy these companies are. Of course t...

Re: Samsung 960 Pro 2TB NVMe M.2 PCIe SSD Review
This drive just isn't worth it. There is nothing realy you can copy to or copy from at that speed, so the most you can use it for is as a faster boot drive with your OS and apps. There are no pendrives or even SATAIII SSD-s, not to mention HDD, that can benefit from transfering from or on to this on...

Re: Are HTPCs Dead
I never used HTPC because I like media players the most. I have a Dune HD Base 3.0 since 2006 and Used it for all my movie watching. It has better quality picture than most bluray players. For music I have a separate High End stereo system and that's it. The media player only uses like 20W, so that ...

Re: ASUS ROG Strix GL502 Gaming Notebook Review - GL502VS-DB71
With gaming notebooks like this being able to play games so well it leaves me thinking this will just hurt desktop PCs even more. At least there might be a price-drop on the insanely expensive graphics cards! Having the top cards go for $700-$1000 is insane, when getting a top-of-the-line gaming la...

I understand the bottom has to be thicker because of the extra cooling but why is the monitor part have a thick, ugly looking bezel?!

Re: Watercooled 1080GTX
I would go with an aftermarket cooler. Those are always the best quality and you probably pay less altogether for a separate card and a separate block than a WC cooled version of any graphics card company. I would go for EK or koolance https://www.ekwb.com/news/ek-unveils-new-nvidia-geforce-gtx-1080...

Re: AMD Radeon RX 460 4GB Graphics Card Review
The msrp is a joke. With all these cards there is some lower price on paper but realy they all cost more. As for this rx460, the prformence is pathetic. This piece of garbage isn't worth any money, since it doesn't have decent frame rates at 1080p.

Re: Seagate BarraCuda Pro 10TB HDD Review
I would be mostly interested not in capacity but how secure is the data on it! The bigger the drive is, the more data can be lost, so I want to know how sturdy, durable the drive is. I lost too much data before because of high capacity but garbage quality HDD's! I would like to see reliable durabili...

I bought 2 adata ssd's before. Never again will I buy anything from them. i don't care how much they cost, I would rather pay not to have this junk. The slowest, worst quality ever and the only ssd I ever had that broke. Stay away.

Re: XFX Radeon R9 Fury Triple Dissipation Video Card Review
Following your logic, if I purchase a new car, that is also a new design, it's OK if it just breaks down on my trip home from the vendor, since new technology is known to do that? This is realy stupid. How about a newly designed house, that collapses on you and your family? OK too I suppose. Eh.

I bought mine with ref cooling because I use WC, so I don't need the cooling at all. After the purchease the first thing was to remove the cooling and replace it with the WC unit

Re: Windows 10 Problem
Somehow nobody on this forum seems to be bothered by the fact, that windows 10 actively spies on its users, being a giant spyprogram. I refuse to use this spying crap, no mather how microsoft is pushing it. I know -DX12. Well, screw DX12 if the only way to get it is using a OS that collects all data...

You could probably install another 12cm fan on the bottom of the case to pull in air, where it is the coolest anyway. Just make sure you have a dustfilter there
