DON'T buy p4 cpu, buy the latest core 2 duo, it's cooler and offers better performance (even at slower clockspeed).

odd problem indeed. you should try to contact gigabyte and see if there's a problem (I am not aware of such issue with the card). Did you make sure that you choose pcie as primary video adapter?

yep, 7950 should be a better choice due to the 256bit memory. the sli really only helps if you got larger screen.

if you plan to oc, you may wish to get a better/more oc-able ram. I would also recommend OCZ's psu as it seems to be a better choice for must overclokers. The 8800gtx is not a bad card (and don't forget evga has their step up program so you can upgrade to the new card if the new 8900 is out within 9...

mmh, if you can wait, I would suggest wait till the dx10 card is released (should be out in a couple of month). If you are looking for a card now, I guess 1950xt would be the choice.

if you are planning to have the potential of upgrade to the next gen of intel cpu, go for the 680/650i mobo which supports FSB 1333.

did you try to update your office? the 2003 has sp2 update. Update your office to the latest version first.

it seems to me that maybe the original file is corrupted.

I THINK IT should work fine without any trouble although through dvi the resolution can only show up at 1366 x 768 Resolution (16:9 Aspect Ratio) , if you want high res, you would need to use the other ocnnector.

it's nice to amd folks as it brings some performance increase but it can't beat core 2 duo in all aspects. I guess we'll have to wait for the next gen of amd to really see a perfroamnce increase.
