I went ahead and bit the bullet and did the same. Got a fair deal on a refurb XPS 170 :shock: It's pretty much a 9300 with some fancy led lights and what not. But it's my first notebook. Right after I got it, I saw the go7800gtx deal and couldn't pass it up. I gotta say it was scary cracking open so...

What kind of juce you puttin to it? A quality PSU is needed for a stable system, more so now than ever. You don't want to burn anythinhg up, supply it with stable power under load.
You probably know this, but I thought I'd add it. :)

70 is a bit too hot, you might want to kick your clocks back untill you get some better cooling. Something with heat pipes if your gonna stick with air. It would help to get a better cooler on the north bridge also. The stock ones don't last and arn't up to OCing. As far as using software for readin...
