When does the 8900 come out and do you know any links where i can view it? The nVidia 8900 series will be introduced during the same week as the ATI R600 series. Basically the 8900 series will be approximately ten percent faster than the current 8800 series. If you are building now, go with EVGA to...

I hope this helps you out. Go to http://forum.worldofplayers.de/forum/forumdisplay.php?f=160 and look for the latest patch. Also examine the threads for .ini files that address sound and forest revisions regarding low fps. There should be some other tweaks in there as well. I passed on this game aft...

Though i do want you to clear up something about Scythe, first of all i heard that Infinity is better than the Ninja Rev B. is that true? Infinity is typically one or two degrees (plus or minus) within the the Ninja's temperature. This is statistically equal and does not offset the increase in size...

The only difference between the LED and the NT is the nickel plating on the NT version. With regards to cooling, they are identical. Either will do a fine job of cooling your proposed processor. If you are open to a cooler that will be slightly more efficient in the heat dissipation department (and ...

The Samsung 226 is a good choice based on reviews that I have read. CC has it in stock.

They have a liberal return policy so that you can find one without any dead pixels (if you live close to a store).

If your motherboard has on-board sound, uninstall the Creative drivers. Then shut down and remove the sound card. Then restart.

I have have experienced many issues that trace back to Creative's drivers over the years.

What is the temperature of the 6800GT?

The lack of tested, mature rivers is the primary reason I am not installing Vista on my next build.

The 6600GT will run Vista's Aero eye candy fine (although a 256MB card would be a tad smoother with multiple windows open) . Of more concern should be RAM. Focus on two gigabytes minimum.

The X2800XTX and other ATI variants will not be a concern as they are shorter (1cm) than the 8800GTX.

The 831 will require a small cut in the lower drive cage to clear the edge of the PCB.

I am only running a Opteron 146 with a 6600GT so I doubt my system will be able to handle this. I have been following this game for a while and it appears to be worthy of the hype it has generated.

I believe that Dell is finally coming around with regards to higher quality systems. Granted that the bargin systems (less than $600) are still fairly anemic. The upper level systems are quite robust and one can obtain American customer service for a price.

The mid-second to fifth seasons of The Next Generation were very well written and acted. Many of the episodes are still with me more than a decade later (Inner Light, Tin Man, Drumhead and others that I cannot remember the titles to), even though I have not seen them since they aired.
