Geo,
I hear what you are saying. I'm still folding, the team isn't even on the 1st nor 2nd page. But it's good to fold with people that share the same core values. Regardless, keep folding since it's all for a good cause overall.

Re: LED traffic lights can't melt snow!
It's not a total back-to-the-drawing-board, but the traffic light lenses could be lined with wired heating elements to defrost or melt the snow. I've been very pleased with the LED signals in various traffic lights that are years ancient. those lights only put out a glow of color at best. The LEDS m...

I gave up soda about 4 years ago, but I still drink juice. I can't afford the 100% juices, so I guess I might as well be drinking soda. You might benefit by getting a juicer if you can't afford the 100% juices. :drinkers: Aldi's tends to have oranges, apples, grapes, kiwi and other fruits at a real...

Soda/pop has so much junk in it that kidney stones would be the least of the health issues after years of abuse. Water and sweet tea tend to be my only two liquid beverages. Daily, it's 64 to 96 ounces consumed. The DW does a gallon typically. We mostly drink no fluoride water. Neither of ...

Great write up.
Swiftech breaks into true micro-channel (pin) technology that reflects the OEM water blocks. That's real performance.
I would love to see a 3/8" fitting version of this block.

It's great to see the friendly competitive spirit here. :P I've noticed the LR stating at 82 now. Two years ago, I would have never thought it would have been possible to even break 100 let alone ride high in the low 80s. As efforts are applied LR would be a future contender in the 50s. Way to go ev...

InkStop reopens to liquidate (St. Louis and elsewhere)
InkStop locked employees out in the cold, then reopens to liquidate "... It won't be such a happy holiday season for employees of InkStop. The printer ink and electronics retailer, which abruptly shut its doors Oct. 1, had said it would reopen after restructuring. On Friday, however, parties i...

Re: My Rant on Motor Oil and Filters...
With a global market and shrinking manufacturing across the globe, your filter might be made in a far off country that would carry a higher retail price. Also, that third party selling under the Fram brand may only make a several thousand a month vs. a quarter million for the aftermarket. My dad had...

Re: Inside the Swiftech MCP350 12V Water Pump
Those pictures have me really stumped. :-k Does the pump cover actually have the Swiftech logo on it? Back in 2005/2006 Laing issued a statement about FAKE DDC pumps made in china as knock offs. These knockoffs would not hold up to the long life like the Laing DDC pumps are capable of. Also, what is...
