These would be commanded/controlled by one or more destroyers, maybe a cruiser, plus a frigate or two, ...

Re: WHICH GAME DO I BUY!

Good choice picking Far Cry 2. It's a very nice game, aside from the large amount of repetition that eventually occurs. My second pick would have been Crysis Warhead. It's a short game, but the gameplay is better than the first Crysis (I could only play it for 30 minutes, while I ended up beating W...

Re: The Official SMP Installation Thread

Thought id put it out there, ive found a much easier way to be able to monitor a client running in a VM. What i did was made a shared folder on the host, mounted that in the VM and installed and ran it from that folder. made it much easier to monitor

Re: Captain tried to escape pirates, U.S. official says

A couple Zodiac's is all that's needed to resolve this. Why do we have all this Navy hardware if we lack the tenacity to use it? I was under the impression that the US didn't negotiate with terrorists. were not negotiating. the destroyer is there jsut to make sure the pirates dont try anything stup...

Re: Captain tried to escape pirates, U.S. official says

ok, im abit ticked about everyone getting on the navys ass for this:
1. its a destroyer. not design for this stuff
2. Were they expecting him to make a run for it?
3. Like i said, this is a destroyer. they dont carry snipers on board
4. Thats one hell of a shot to make even if there were snipers

Re: Captain tried to escape pirates, U.S. official says

thing is destroyers arent very well suited for that. for that you need assult craft but i dont beleive speed boats can be launched directly from destroyers (least not the arly burkes) need a small scale marine carrier
