is this a 1u or 4u case? because if you have room for it some of the huge alu towers work really well for passive cooling.

WB!

I know what you mean, i want conroe right away but i dont want to deal with the first revision of motherboards :( However my DFI was a frist revision and still cranks as well as the new ones... and thats because they did not make any revisions to the Ultra-D. So who knows i may get lucky.

Nice job guys, for the most part the results were as expected. One of the reasons the OCZ and Mushkin have similar results is both of thoes modles are built by Top Power, while the new Gamer series are built by FSP group.

Tagan is good quality, my guess is that unit is made by Estasis who does PC&P, zippy, and emacs.

there is one universal compairison Price :)

there really is no easy way to compair, the best you can do is look at benchmarks of similary price CPUs and find the one that performes best in your applications.

what kind of heatsink do you have? also if its too hot you can reduce your load to 75% or 50% in your user.cfg file. Wow the price war is ON! If X2 prices really drop 50% thats huge and will make AMD at least an option when conroe comes out.

58c is hot... but folding will do that its going to raise your temps quite a bit and is why i have most of my folding computers under water :) even then they run warm my dual Xeon 3.0 runs at 50c and my X2 runs at 45c while folding.
