I'm a bit of an Asus fan 4 Intel mobo's too, so at first i went 4 the Asus P5P800.
But according to most people the DFI performs better.

I only choose the 630 because it was cheaper, if its in ur budget, go 4 the 650 (or better :) )

btw: i vote 4 system1 too :) and definitly OC it 8)

If u do video editing u will get noticably more performance from Intel

y, 100 dollars for the converter (cause thats just what it is) only and then like u sdaid another atleast 400 buck for ram. And a $100 for a converter only is already expensive (ATA to SATA can be had for $20) I believe u if u say ram might be harder to convert, but still prices should get in the 20...

i know why it hasnt been done yet, its very simple.
It just to darn expensive for most people.
So little people will buy it
And what only makes it worse is that the production costs are very high.

It all depends on what proc, if u buy a pentium4 mobile, it might heat up quit alot. If u buy a Pentium M the heat lvl is normal, and u get the best performance there is (for both desktop and laptops) according to most reviews. If u buy a Centrino cpu, heat lvl is low, but it is not as god as Pentiu...

I think "General Purpose Register Arrays" is just a fancy name for cache, but i might be wrong.
Lets see what ATI will bring us, i look forward to it :)

If u buy another mobo, and u still got money to burn, i would buy new everything: - new cpu - new mobo - new ram and possibly also a new powersupply. If u want to buy all this new, ur almost building a new computer, and there is lots of choice of...

I think the Akasa POWERPLUS 650W V1 (version 1) is very nice.
Little people know Akasa as a PSU maker so its got little attention from most people, but the reviews ive seen are all very positive :D

I wouldnt call it professional looking, but it looks like a very nice ghetto mod

if u ask me they should skip the whole DDR2 thing and stay with DDR untill ddr3 comes up.
DDR2 has never really proved to be better than DDR, so why go with DDR2 when DDR3 is nearly available?
