Your card must have SM3.0 support to work with SCDA.
In other words, no your 9800pro cannot run SCDA.
A quick google search could've told you that.

well if you use ultra high res textures in Oblivion with everything cranked up to NUTZ, the 640 would be unbelievably useful.

PhysX cards are/will be useless especially since GPUs will be doing Physics once the time comes (8800GTX already can).

The Accelero X1/X2 works very well and should at least lower your temps by a few degrees.

Otherwise you got two options:
1) Water Cooling
2) Phasechange cooling

but then again, nVidia's Vista drivers suck major @$$, so you never know.

you should really go for the 640 because as more and more games use higher and higher res textures, your computer will thank you for the VRAM.

Fully functional Oblivion multiplayer will never happen. Even when functional, it will always be buggy, incomplete, or some combination of the two.

If you have an nVidia graphics card I wouldn't switch to Vista right now if I were you because they have horrible driver support for Vista right now.
