I found myself reading old magazines this morning, and one of them happened to be Maximum PC (I read it a lot), and it turns out that they love the Cooler Master Cosmos. I fail to see why it is such a great case, although I have never used it. However, just from reading about it, it does not seem like a dream come true. So, which is better, the Nine Hundred or the Cosmos? Comments are also appreciated!
a friend of mine built a friend of his a computer with a comos, and said it was the best case he ever worked with.in terms of the 900, i would just get a p-1XX
Comparing the two is like comparing a "Fast 'n' Furious" (the nine hundred) and a high end Mercedes (the cosmos) they are just two totally different styles. I personally I like the look of the cosmos over the nine hundred, I don't care for the hump on the top.
When you get to the other areas of the cases, the Cosmos has more sound deadening material then the nine hundred. The 900 is a more open mesh style case, so more noise will get out of the case, so your choice in parts is will play a key role in the noise you hear.
I have not seen the 900 in person so I can't comment on its faults. I have seen the cosmos in person its a slick looking case with loads of fans to keep things cool, but there is no rubber feet to the case, just the rails, so if you will be setting it on a hard wood floor it will slide around.

I like the looks of the Cosmos, but I couldn't justify the extra $100. I have the Antec Nine Hundred and absolutely love it. The Nine Hundred has become the official case of my LAN group. I know of 7 of us that have the case, and the complaints I've heard are very minimal to none at all.

Seriously, I vote for the Cosmos based on aesthetics. I haven't used either so I can't really judge based on functionality. For the price, though, I'd much rather get a P182SE. Not only do you get a case, you get a mirror, too.

I have owned neither of these cases, so in my estimation they are both excellent cases and do the job well. So, you can either go by aesthetics or cost factor. Buy the one that looks best, or is easier on your wallet. BTW I voted for the 900.
