A rollerball mouse would be the type of mouse that was used before laser mice. You know, then one that fills with gunk within 12 minutes from using it.

I could never get into a trackball mouse, it was all backward for me, and it is hard to game with.
The only reason I got used to one was because I broke both of my humerus(upper arm bone) Instead of using a mouse left handed I just got a trackball. It was weird. Since I sucked at the rest of my games I decided to play Tiger Woods. It was actually easier because of the motion you have to move it. So I stuck with it and loaded up some other games and used it. After a month I used it over my "roller ball" At the time that was what I had. I am not so used to either it doesn't bother me. If I'm on my bed with my laptop I use a trackball. If I'm on my desktop it's a mouse.

I was just thinking that as I read his post!

I saw someone really hitting one of those arcade games pretty hard. I bet the trackball wouldn't stand up to that punishment.
