Windows Mobile 6.1

Post by Tech_Greek »

So, for some reason when I connect my phone to my computer now, it kills my wireless connection on my desktop. Can't figure it out! ARGHHH

I tried to get 6.1, but stupid verizon doesn't offer the update for my phone. I have to do some crazy hack that may kill the phone, and I don't really want to do that just to get threaded text messages.

There's usually a Threaded Text Cab out there for 99% of the phones but 6.1 did run smoother then just regular 6.0 did in my opinion.

I couldn't get either 6.0 or 6.1 to sync on Vista x64 without killing my internet connection.

It makes no sense to sync mine because I don't use outlook. It sounds very odd that it would kill the connection.

Just thought I would let everyone know.

I was almost going to format the OS and reinstall as I tried everything...but I solved it.

I reinstalled Windows Mobile Device Center 6.1 :axe: I feel like an idiot, I tried the hardest solutions first! :)
